## About Caseway
Caseway is a Vancouver-based sovereign Canadian AI company focused on two capabilities: form automation and data intelligence. Founded in 2024, Caseway builds for organizations that can't afford errors, which is why its architecture is designed around grounded, source-cited output rather than generative guesswork. For legal teams, Caseway offers three products. Casey is a research and drafting assistant built on millions of court decisions sourced directly from courts, tribunals, and legal boards, with a source behind every citation. CaseForm automates legal form workflows, turning the repetitive, form-heavy parts of a practice into a few clicks; it is embedded in the 8am/MyCase platform under a revenue-share and co-marketing partnership, the first time an AI company based outside the U.S. secured that level of access to a major American legal platform. CaseLite is a free public case-law search site covering Canadian and U.S. court decisions. Caseway also partners with Sidian to pair CaseForm with Microsoft 365-native burn-in redaction for U.S. law firms. Accuracy is independently studied rather than merely claimed. Caseway runs a two-year NSERC Alliance-Mitacs Accelerate research collaboration with the University of British Columbia, where Dr. Vered Shwartz's team studies its research engine, and a Mitacs-funded collaboration with Simon Fraser University on machine-readable access to court decisions. Beyond legal, the same stack serves enterprise, government, and defence customers with heavy documentation workloads. Caseway is a registered supplier on CanadaBuys and SAM.gov, is listed on the BC Defence Supplier Directory, and is IWSCC certified as a veteran-owned business. As a sovereign Canadian company, Caseway is non-ITAR and non-PRC, with Canadian-based personnel, which matters to buyers with data residency and jurisdictional requirements. Engagements typically start with a paid pilot on a single workflow with measurement agreed up front, followed by fixed-fee deployment, production licensing, or partnership models including revenue share.
