As a student, I enjoy BlueJeans Events because it is an effective tool for keeping virtual classes interactive by using features such as the Polls and Q&A widgets. As someone who holds weekly industry presentations for my peers, BlueJeans Events gives me tools that make it easy for presenters to communicate uninterrupted, take questions, and gives us access to other useful tools and information such as attendee lists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about BlueJeans Virtual Events? As a student, I have been frustrated with watching recordings of BlueJeans Events. Trying to skip around or pause the video sometimes causes the audio and video to become out of sync, and the page has to be reloaded. There are some minor inconveniences associated with the Presenting platform. For example, although my guests can share their screen, they have to send me mp4 files in advance of videos embedded in their presentations because the platform does not allow guests to share video. I have used other platforms briefly, and my first impression is that BlueJeans Events is better looking and easier to us. It may be more functional as well, although perhaps I have not used other platforms extensively enough to know. If I had to choose between Zoom, Teams, and BlueJeans Events and all platforms were free, I would pick BlueJeans Events. Because Georgia Tech provides students and faculty with BlueJeans Events, I am unable to accurately answer questions related to the cost/price and the return of investment into the service. BlueJeans Events allows for a one-way stream of the presentation which prevents interruptions from attendees who forget to turn off their microphone or whatnot. The solution is very easy for my customers to access even if they have never used Bluejeans before. Bluejeans is super easy to log into and does not require the end user to download any additional software. It was such an easy solution to use for business that I figured I would try it on my family by hosting our Olson 2020 COVID Christmas via Bluejeans. The sound quality and stability even with events with lot's of people. Integration with other tools like slack and google calendar that make alerts very easy so it's very hard to miss a meeting. The events work really well. The quality of sound is very good. It supports lot's of people at the same time. It has been a great tool to keep communication flowing while pandemic happens. I would like to see more than 9 people like Zoom allows to. A highly stable and resilient cross-platform SAS video conferencing solution. Suitable for videoconferencing (Meetings) up to 150 people and webinars (Events) up to 20,000 people. Encoding is fluid whatever the h.323 platform, computers (Mac OS, Windows and Linux) or mobile devices (iOS, android). Integration on your own web page or live facebook is particularly easy. Since the pandemic, we've shifted our model to engage with stakeholders virtually and have been leveraging the primetime / BlueJeans events platform to host both small group private sessions and full public webinars. The interface is really easy to use and allows videos to be played easily within it. We've been really impressed with the quality of experience in terms of how our events team leverages this on the back-end and the ease of taking questions and providing an interactive experience for attendees.
