Having created websites using various solutions including DreamWeaver, Squarespace, and html/css I was very happy to discover Blocs. If you are already familiar with the basics of design and html/css it's easy to implement and running quickly.

For a first time user are some really odd things to encounter and, according to the owner himself, "you just have to get used to". For example the font type set for a project still shows as Helvetica even after a custom class specifying another has been created. And there is another 'bug' where an image needs to be dragged into position because simply clicking to select it leads to it filling the background of the container, not the div in question. Blocs has a drag and driop builder which makes it easy to use with little or no programming experience. Blocs has an extensive template library and pre-built blocs to suit different designs and looks. Supports customization include custom code insertion in css and javascript.
