## About Blisk
Modern web applications must support any kind of mobile device: from the latest iPhones and iPad to large desktops and laptops. Developers, QA engineers, designers, and marketers suffer from the lack of needed devices or use them inefficiently. Introducing Blisk: a desktop application for mobile testing and cross-device testing on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Blisk combines development and testing processes for mobile and desktop into a single workflow. Blisk users make twice less effort and achieve better results in development and testing compared to regular browsers and other tools. \*\*Top Devices and DevTools.\*\* With top mobiles, tablets, laptops, and desktops that run on iOS, Android, iPadOS, macOS, and Windows, Blisk covers all needs in web development. The list of devices updates constantly. \*\*Features.\*\* - Use devices individually or several at the same time, mix them and share device sets with your team. - The side-by-side view helps to visually compare mobile and desktop and find the code inconsistency easily. - Recreate real-life conditions just like on the device of your end user (slow connection, clean cache, dark mode, landscape orientation, etc). - Find and fix bugs before they become critical. The dedicated error monitoring service works in real-time on each device independently. - Use chrome-like DevTools for each device and a set of advanced developer tools that dramatically improves your performance. \*\*Works everywhere. Uncompromised security.\*\* The source code stays safe because it executes locally and is not transferred anywhere unlike other web solutions. When you browse the web, Blisk provides an extra layer of security by notifying about suspicious files and malicious websites.

## Blisk Reviews
  ### 1. Design your Web and see how it looks on mobiles, tablets, laptops, and desktops

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ederson V. | Web designer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

Blisk is excellent for web designers, it allows me to see how my designs are turning out on different web devices, it allows me to see in one place how our pages are looking on each device and at the same time we can navigate the page and this is visualized on each device simultaneously, so we don't have to go one by one.

In addition to this, it allows me to use the Google Chrome development tool called DevTools, so when I make temporary changes to the design with this tool, I can see on which cell phone screens it looks bad and thus make the necessary changes to fix it.

It is quite easy to implement since we practically don't have to configure anything.
I use it every time I am designing a web page.

In other cases where it has helped me, is on small screen phones like the iPhone 13 mini, the titles get cut off or one part is displayed below the other and before publishing my page to the public, with this tool I can identify these errors and fix the design before publishing it.

Also, with images, sometimes they appear cut off on small cell phone screens, so I proceed to solve the problem before publishing.

The truth is that this tool has been very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

One thing that should be improved in Blisk is the loading speed, especially when using multiple devices at once. At times, it becomes a bit slow.

**What problems is Blisk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blisk helps me solve various visual problems in the development of my web pages. For example, I can perform visual tests on different devices at the same time, I can synchronize the Scroll and URL which is very important so I don't have to do it device by device, I can capture screens, etc.

Also, as I mentioned earlier, it has helped me a lot to identify errors with small screen cell phones, since sometimes the titles and/or images get cut off, so I have had to adjust them in the page design. This tool makes it easier for me to solve the visualization problems of my pages before showing them to the public and that's great.

It definitely speeds up and improves my work.

  ### 2. Good Features and Pretty Accurate Representation of Devices

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paka M. | Web Design Agency, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

Blisk allows me to select which devices I want to test my website builds on and allows me to configure the layout for better flow. Everything is easily accessible, or guidance is easy to find.

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

It's a little on the expensive side especially compared to some of their competitors. Since I started out with Blisk with a discount and have grown comfortable with its interface, I have elected to continue another year's subscription even though it costs significantly more. I have been exploring other options so who knows if I'll renew next year

**Recommendations to others considering Blisk:**

It does a lot, but can be pricey after the first year. If you're on a budget, you may want to search other options that are cheaper or free.

**What problems is Blisk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their accurate depictions of the various mobile devices has been instrumental in configuring website builds. With the ability to configure the layout inline with my developmental flow is very helpful.

  ### 3. Indispensable tool for development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

Blisk is a handy tool, and it's super easy to use. It operates like a regular web browser set in incognito mode (helps with caching issues), with the addition of emulating different devices. With the different combinations, I can troubleshoot problems that only show up on specific computer sizes, such as laptops. I won't always see every issue on my desktop, and the ability to test for different versions of phones and phone sizes is probably the feature I use the most.

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

The only real downside is the recent change to how Blisk works; I can only effectively look at two devices simultaneously. Previously I could load a more significant number of screens, but it's not a deal-breaker by any means.

**What problems is Blisk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blisk enables me to test my website builds on multiple devices and layouts without owning them. For the number of devices I would need to buy; it's an irreplaceable tool. It's also very accurate. I test the software against my actual iPhone, and they match up most of the time.

**Official Response from Andrii Bakirov:**

> Hello James. Thanks for your feedback!

“I can only effectively look at two devices at the same time” - you should be able to use up to 8 devices at the same time. Please check if you are using the latest version.

  ### 4. Use it everyday, life without it is painful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David P. | Project manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

I love how at one glance I can see what a website looks like on multiple devices. I usually look at 3-5 at the same time. Perfect for QA. Way better than Chrome dev tools.

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

I love Blisk, and I like how they're getting better. A year ago you could only look at one device at a time. I thought that was perfect. Then they added the ability to see multiple devices at the same time. That blew my mind, solved a pain point I didn't even know I had.

**What problems is Blisk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Blisk for QA. When doing QA I want to easily and quickly see how a website looks like on all devices. I used to rely on Chrome dev tools, but that's pretty basic. Now I can see what a website looks like on all the ipads, all the androids, all the iphones. It's fantastic. It means I pick up bugs before the client does, which I love. Means I can fix things and get in front of the feedback loop.

**Official Response from Andrii Bakirov:**

> Hello David. Thank you for the feedback! More great features coming soon.

Thanks!

  ### 5. Lightweight cross-device testing tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anirudh M. | Co-founder and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

Our developers use Blisk to test our production site and app on multiple screens. We test it with smaller screens, larger screens, and extra-large screens to see if our components break.

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

Not a disadvantage, but if we can spin up different browsers like Firefox, Safari, it would be easier to do cross-browser testing. Remote browsers will be tough, but headless or local Docker browsers with Selenium can be done by Blisk if possible.

**What problems is Blisk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've encountered a lot of places where our developers missed on designing responsive UIs. Blisk finds it for us. We generally do this before we deploy in our production.

**Official Response from Andrii Bakirov:**

> Hello Anirudh. One of the key ideas behind Blisk is to start using it from the early development stage. Following this rule will allow you to avoid many issues even before the testing phase. Thank you for the feedback!

Cross browser testing.
Test efficiency is increased because of multi-platform support.

  ### 9. Frontend testing never been easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

Blisk expands on chrome dev tools and services like browserstack to give you an all in one solution. The scroll sync and orientation controls are amazing and give you a quick route into debugging those tricky issues that you want to avoid ahead of clients reviewing.

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

It would be great if there was a way to test in other browsers. Internet explorer is very tricky sometimes to fix issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Blisk:**

Give it a go and within 5 minutes you will be converted. Forget expensive monthly subscriptions

**What problems is Blisk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blisk rolls up a number of tools and plugins into one interface. It has saved me hours of time and is my main productivity driver when working on frontend projects

**Official Response from Andrii Bakirov:**

> David, thank you for reviewing Blisk!

  ### 10. The Best device Emulator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tshepho J. | Platform Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

If you want to compare your website performance on both desktop screen and mobile, then blisk is the perfect emulator you need with the latest devices.
You can get popular devices on blisk, which makes your screenshots even more professionally.

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

It needs a faster internet, and a faster laptop, it takes time to load if your internet connection is slow.

**Recommendations to others considering Blisk:**

It is simple and user-friendly. You can see how the website will look like on the mobile or tablet using blisk.
Give it a go, you won't regret.
It is affordable, you get to have a yearly payment.

  ### 11. First experience with Blisk

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

Really like the possibility to do all my UI testing/debugging on the same screen. Rather than moving from windows to windows I can easily track, fix and test any issues in the UI of my webapp. It is easy to use and we can acheive a high level of debugging

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

The time restriction is a down for me. They should have a better way to apply premium feature on a monthly-basis fee plan... Maybe instead of time limitation, they should limitate the number of devices you can use to test your webapp iin Blisk.

**Recommendations to others considering Blisk:**

You should definitly give it a try. Of course it has down sides but the product is awesome and they seems taking care of their users comments.

**What problems is Blisk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We save a lot of time when comes time to test a UI on multiple environment

**Official Response from Andrii Bakirov:**

> Hello!

Thank you for reviewing Blisk!

  ### 12. Web developers best (browser) friend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher B. | Freelance Web and Software Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

Blisk excels at providing all of the tools a web site and app developer could want when it comes to testing their site. It is incredibly easy to use, and out of the box tries to provide you with a no-setup-needed environment.

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

It's really only meant for development. Trying to use it as your daily driver web browser is fighting against the grain of what it was intended for. However, it is possible to do so.

**Recommendations to others considering Blisk:**

Recognize that by default, Blisk wants to act as your development browser, NOT your daily driver. If you want a similar experience to Blisk in terms of quality and site rendering, stick with another Chromium browser like Chrome. For development and testing, you can't beat Blisk in terms of quality and easy of use.

**What problems is Blisk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a company primarily focused on web site and web app development, Blisk has enabled us to build and test across multiple platforms with confidence, often showing us errors in design and layout that Chrome and Firefox failed to render properly with their own device test tools.

**Official Response from Andrii Bakirov:**

> Hello Christopher.

Did you try the new workflow in Blisk (appeared in version 14)? Since then, you can use Browsing and Developer modes and switch between them easily.

  ### 13. Mobile and Tablet Testing Has Never Been Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris W. | Frontline Support Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Blisk?**

The ability to quickly test pages and sites on mobile devices is huge. I can go into iPad or other mobile mode and interact with the site as thought I was on that device. It's super easy to swap back and forth between that and laptop or desktop view. This saves me a ton of time on testing.

**What do you dislike about Blisk?**

Nothing really. Free would be great, but it's honestly worth every penny,.

**Recommendations to others considering Blisk:**

Use the free trial. What do you have to lose?

**What problems is Blisk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing our web-based project management tool in various mobile and laptop views.

**Official Response from Andrii Bakirov:**

> Hello Chris.

Thank you for reviewing Blisk!
