I appreciate how I was able to create and download a link personalized to each client company. I could move each of the client Company folders to the SOC or wherever else I needed it to be. The use of the software is quite complicated with the interface as it requires considerable time to know better the software, to use the features suitably and it causes the loss of time or money. Besides, I am not happy with the price it offers as it could be considered as expensive in general and it makes the software inaccessible to newly-built companies that incredibly need such great software. 12 years ago I had the opportunity to know a Computer Engineer that was working in the Bitdefender team. At that time we both were young and courageous. I am a physicist engineer and I have worked for one of the best software companies in the world (UBI Soft Entertainment) and I can tell that my colleague (Computer Engineer) was one of the best in his job. Bitdefender is a Romanian company that can compete with the best Antivirus Companies in the world (Total AV, AVG, Norton etc). What I like the best at Bitdefender (and especially at the Bitdefender company) is that they have people that are very good in their job and that their antivirus is probably the best in the world (although the Bitdefender antivirus is much more slower than their competitors from the US). The Bitdefender is too slow when compared with the antiviruses from the US companies. To run an antivirus from morning to the end of the day is too much. Although they are probably the best in the world, the Bitdefender team have much to learn from their US colleagues when it comes to running fast a computer program. As someone who appreciates good Mac software, Bitdefender is not particularly good Mac software. A significant portion of the features only work on Windows and have no Mac equivalent. Also, as someone very familiar with Mac systems admin practices, Bitdefender doesn't adhere to any usual Mac standards doing things like placing important files in nonstandard system locations. Further, Bitdefender does not seem committed to keeping up with changes at Apple, sometimes taking months or longer to fix something that Apple broke in an innocuous macOS update. While I empathize with their situation, any seasoned Mac developer should expect this from Apple and be ready to respond. Bitdefender does not do this well and has let several working features break with no fix in sight because of changes that Apple made that they never responded to. I like the price they ask for as they are pretty convenient for our company since we are a pretty small organization that lacks the resources.
