"Bitdefender: My Favorite Antivirus"
5/5
What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

When I was in school, we had to do a project about which antivirus was the best one based on a logical set of criteria. I made mine the most stringent, and I chose to test Bitdefender. Bitdefender goes a step further than a typical IDS, it really acts more as an IPS. The test I ran that sealed the deal for me, was a simple port scan. I kept trying to run a port scan on my home network, and my Linux laptop kept getting DOS'd. When I traced the packets to figure it out, it turned out the Bitdefender agent running on my gaming computer had detected the port scan on the network and launched its own counter-attack by sending out massive packets of random data to the scan source, in this case my laptop. After I watched the consumer (home) version of Bitdefender DOS my own laptop, I fell in love. It took a couple of years, but eventually I was able to push for GravityZone here at Elsewhen Technology, and last year we made the switch from SentinelOne. Bitdefender is unequivocally better than SentinelOne, and I sincerely feel that the only reason Sentinel is viewed as so good is because their marketing team is stellar, while their product is horrendous. Bitdefender listens to me when I put in an exception, and it includes more features at less than half the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to configuring the policies and exceptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"reliable software and resource-saving"

What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

Easy view between all customers or just specific ones. Very pleasant as an admin Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

The administration view is confusing and not well organized. A step by step sequence would be better here, so you jump from point three to five then to one and at the end to ten and then create a new customer and provide them with profiles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

Whitelist the device ID for accessing any hardware. The uninstallation tool does not work if the antivirus has not contacted the server. We have to boot up the system in safe mode to uninstall the antivirus by removing the security value from the registry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Ironclad Guardian of Data Sanctity!"
5/5
What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

Absolutely fantastic! Bitdefender GravityZone Datacenter Security is a game-changer in the cybersecurity arena. From the moment you fire it up, you realize you're not dealing with your run-of-the-mill security solution. This powerhouse is engineered specifically for data centers, and boy, does it deliver!

The user interface is sleek, intuitive, and, dare I say, enjoyable to navigate. The level of customization is mind-blowing. You get the sense that Bitdefender actually cares about giving you full control over your security ecosystem. But let’s get to the meat and potatoes: the protection. Holy smokes, it’s like having a digital fortress around your data! With its smart analytics and real-time threat detection, this software is the vigilant sentinel you've always dreamed of.

Its performance? Lightning-fast! It operates so smoothly that you'll forget it's even there, guarding your valuable data like a cyber knight in shining armor. And don’t even get me started on the customer support—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help.

If you're in the market for uncompromising, top-of-the-line data center security, look no further. Bitdefender GravityZone Datacenter Security is not just a product; it's peace of mind in a digital world fraught with risks. This is not just security; it's security done right! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

Ah, if I must pick a downside amidst the sea of awesomeness, it would be the initial setup complexity. While the user interface is splendid for daily tasks, getting the system configured just right may require a bit of a learning curve, especially for those not well-versed in data center operations. It's like buying a high-performance sports car; it's magnificent, but you've got to know how to handle it to get the best out of it. Luckily, the top-notch customer support is there to guide you through, but prepare to invest some time initially to truly harness its power. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Endpoint Security based on Extensive Innovation"
5/5
What do you like best about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

Gravity Zone has been our A/V solution for both internal and client use since 2011. The platform is easy to navigate which makes onboarding and managing client endpoints super simple. As a company, Bitdefender is big on innovation and is consistently improving the product by performance as well as product enhancements. The platform's modularity means it can be configured to the specific needs of our end users. Where many A/V solutions introduce significant performance impacts to the end user experience, Bitdefender Gravity Zone is lightweight, uses a single agent into which components plug into, and presents no significant performance hit to the end user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bitdefender GravityZone XDR?

We are still optimistic that the Bitdefender Dev Team will make the Risk Analysis report more effective (allow for both an organization as well as single/ grouped endpoint and include it in the report bundle. Currently, the risk reporting tool is very limited in scope. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
