The platform is well developed, the search filters by category and type of file are well organized and speed up the search of the product or manufacturer indicated, many models downloaded have a high level of detail and are very well specified technically and that is very important for the BIM projects. The best developed files and models are not available in all formats and that is very disappointing, some models do not have the 3D preview that is elementary to know what is being downloaded and not lose a download time that is important , requires changing its appearance to meet the needs of a BIM market. The manufacturers upload 3d models with perfect details, the search library is very complete and has a wide family of products of different types and brands, so far I have obtained the products I needed and I have downloaded them without any difficulty, the variety of formats allows you to download them for different software and that is very useful and efficient in the design office. The interface of the platform is a bit basic and does not have a more professional preview that allows you to rotate or move and even modify the objects you want to download and opt, communicating with manufacturers should be easier to interact and review the products and that the suggestions arrive quickly. In some of the available categories still have shortcomings of brands and major manufacturers in the market as some objects if they are limited in the format of download, I believe that with the passage of time will be improving and incorporating more models. One of the things that I like the most about BIMObject is the level of trust that is there. I know that if I grab an object from BIMObject I can trust that there is nothing wrong with what I have pulled down from there and it won't corrupt my project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Unfortunately what I do not like is not something that can terribly be controlled, it just requires patience from me, but I would like to see more manufacturers and suppliers put their stuff on BIMObject and/or develop their catalog to be able to be put on BIMObject. Its ease of access and download is excellent, the models to download are very well developed so they are very efficient and useful for the development and management of BIM-based projects, has a wide possibility of downloading since it allows downloading in different formats for different programs such as Sketchup, Revid, AutoCAD, 3d MAX among many others.

It is the platform with the easiest reach within the market allowing you to search in a wide library of different manufacturers and finding in most of the times the product you are looking for or a very similar one, I can also buy the differences between some products and their feasibility according to the project that is being developed.

Filters may not be so useful when you are looking for something very specific, it is a tool that can be improved.

When you do not get the product it is difficult to let them know that they have this lack in some manufacturers or file types, there is no easy way to collaborate with them and make the platform a network that allows to load more models and have more variety.
