When you call for questions you talk directly with the people who run the company. Always were helpful . From a design perspective, the pages are clean and uncluttered. Easy to make changes. From the bidder perspective the process of submitting a bid is straight forward. Many are not tech savvy so having an interface that is intuitive is paramount. **What do you dislike about BiddingOwl.com?** 1) Would be nice to add video clip. 2) Cannot get info of how many registered for your auction - it is a general registration for any auction. 3) Would like the ability to embed the auction site to our website. This obviates the need to switch to another website, then have to return to our website. These are feature improvements. Not much else **Recommendations to others considering BiddingOwl.com:** It is a basic auction platform that is easy and intuitive to implement. I really like the drag and drop, dialog boxes to implement the auction parameters, like opening bid, min bid increment, dates of the auction, shipping, additional information. I like the zero development costs, PayPal integration, and a flat 5% fee of all auctioned monies taken in. Straight DONATE monies are free! It probably isn't the most sophisticated in terms of customization but for many of us who are inexperienced and first timers, it gets the job done. The only request I would have made, would be to upload more photos of our items. But, we found a work around by adding a link to a url that had the photos available. BidingOwl has really reasonable prices and incredible customer service. It's great to see and make the name of the business easy to remember and use in marketing materials in a simple way. It even allows you to try mobile offers, which I think is a great feature, but the location we have used for many years for our auction event has an Internet that can be further improved. It is great to have an online auction administration service option that has a simple and relatively low cost structure to eliminate the risk associated with subscription fees or high upfront costs. The input and management of the articles is simple and, in general, intuitive. It is great to have the ability to enter the default options as a batch and update them as needed individually or in groups. In addition, it is useful to have the ability to load 3 images per article. **What do you dislike about BiddingOwl.com?** There are some features that I think are unnecessary, so perhaps a more solid help section is the best in order to eliminate the need to contact Customer Service a lot. However, as mentioned above, they are very receptive, but it would be good to take away those little details. Although there is a good printable instruction sheet to register and offer to users, I think it would be useful if there were more printable step-by-step instructions for those who may be less familiar with the software.
