It’s a helpful service that lets me send prayer letters to supporters all over the world. I also like being able to see the engagement from people who receive the letters. When I first started using it, the Benchmark folks were quick to answer my questions and provide step-by-step instructions, which made getting started much easier.

The UI is intuitive and easy to learn, and I appreciate that I can use the free service. Overall, the app performs well: sending letters is straightforward, and it’s easy to build different links within the letters for integration with social media apps. I know they have added the sign up form templates. But I am seeking just the ability to get a QR code that can be added to snail mail letters that I also send out, in hopes more snail mail folks would sign up for emails. So far I have not figured out how to do that.

The new revised platform feels very basic and doesn’t have the ability to transfer the photo gallery from the old platform. Because of that, it takes a bit longer to create new images for the things we use often. Also, there’s no longer an archive page, which we used all the time to generate new subscribers. Some of their advanced automation and personalisation capabilities are not that extensive when compared with the author enterprise tools out there in this specific space. Their template customisation options are good overall, but there are certain limitations when we try to create a highly customised design, and their reporting feature is useful, though their deeper analytics and integration module should be improved further. I find it super easy to design well-crafted emails with Benchmark Email's drag-and-drop feature. I like that I can save a template and reuse it, and it's easy to use, even for someone who's not an expert marketer. The tracking feature is great, as well. I also like that I don't have to send emails from my direct email. The templates that Benchmark allows me to create are much better compared to what I used before.
