Beacon is great for creating lead magnets using already published content. It makes it really easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is an easy platform to use and create with. I don't have any real concerns Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about this application is that it allows me to create graphics for the website without having to hire a professional to do it, which In and of itself cuts alt of cost. It allows me to drag and drop and move around stuff to create the perfect design with ease of use in mind. I can also, add and remove elements at the touch of a button using their templates to speed up the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about this is that though one may not need a professional's help to create a design, one will still have to have a design background in order to get the perfect design. If you are not tech-savvy, you may encounter a few challenges on your first attempt to use the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very easy to use and I love how I can leverage the content from my blog post into a lead magnet for my customers. I also like how it easily integrates with my email marketing provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the graphics from the lead magnet are not the best. If they could clean it up and make it more professional that would be great. Other than that the software is fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their new library system in beta! It's turning out great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't collect phone numbers. I hope this would get a fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Beacon is designed as a lead magnet creator, you can use it to simply create a beautiful ebook. You can use existing blog content or you can build it from scratch using the available templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe it would be nice if Beacon provides more template options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Creating a lead magnet is as simple as copy-paste your content URL. You can also create the content from scratch using one of the available templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You need to have an existing content beforehand. And you still need to edit the result to get exactly what you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can use the existing web page as the materials to create an ebook that you want to use as lead magnet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Importing a link will get it as one section. It would be nice if Beacon could create chapters automatically based on the H2-H4 tag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a couple of different aspects to Beacon I really like. Turning existing content into PDF books has made the process easier than creating something from scratch, and having a built in marketing / opt-in system makes the process of operating a lead magnet pretty simple. The interface is a bit clunky, the design options are limited, and in the lead magnet management department you can't resize or dictate what the dimensions are for the opt-in which can make for a messy look on your site if you don't code in the changes yourself.
