You can only choose between a few different layouts. I also found myself getting muted whenever I wanted to remove my camera from the presentation so the guest could present and have his camera + screenshare instead of both of us and a screenshare. Help helped me by telling me that I had to turn off my camera instead of hiding myself from the screen. That made it so I could keep my audio while the guest was presenting (screen+guest), however, when I went to do the same thing to the guest, so it was just (me + screen) with guest in the background being able to hear the audio and comment, I found out that was an upgrade??? What?? Mid presentation, I find out - oh wait, I have to pay extra to do a basic function like that. I've done 2 webinars through Be.Live now with 50+ attendees each time, and each time, we had a lot of problems. Not fun. **Recommendations to others considering Be.Live:** Test it out on the free version first with a friend before you go live. **What problems is Be.Live solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was solving webinar streaming to my group. Only the marketing hype. They have really good marketing and promotional content and no one can really complain about that. They do a good job of sharing all sorts of videos on the home page and online. **What do you dislike about Be.Live?** Everything about this company is just total hype and they totally don't live up to their end of the bargain. I had a terrible experience with them as they refuse to be flexible at all with you if you ever have any kind of issues with your plan. All my friends that have actually used it tell me that its pretty confusing and the video quality really stinks. I never got to actually use my account, as I was forced to redeem my access right away, but I was not able to use it for a while. Then I lost access to my facebook for NO REASON or fault of my own. I am the original owner and I can prove this and even have my receipt, same name, all proof needed- but I no longer have access to the old account. And they refuse to give me back access to the product thatI have paid for. Totally non-flexible at all and I followed all the deal terms. The way you set up your lives is intuitive, and naturally organizes you for an event. So even if you ran out of time and need to get something set up at the last minute, you still feel (and look) like you prepared days in advance. That said though, the reason why I don't like some of the other platforms is that because they have so much flexibility they're hard to use. The ability to share on screen and acknowledge your viewer's comments really does create a more personal experience for the viewer, and in turn, it encourages them to respond and interact with you more. It's an incredible way to work with the algorithms and expand your reach, and who knows, potential clients! Scheduling shows and having the ability to cross post and share your show before you actually go live is such a time saver, and helps bring more viewers to your screen, and of course, who doesn't love the fact you can add your own branding? The ability to have up to 4 people on screen and even to share screens is a game changer for us. In our business, we use the platform to deliver webinars and generate business, as well as to create lifestyle type shows. There's so much I love about the platform. The support team is second to none. You get a response quite quickly if there is an issue and they really do help trouble shoot, even while you are live. **What do you dislike about Be.Live?** Whenever I find something I dislike, I find it is something that the developers are working on. The main thing would have to be the video quality, having said that, it's improved immensely and isn't an issue all the time. The tech team really have done a lot to improve the user's experience. **Recommendations to others considering Be.Live:** Be persistent and really test the platform out. Just with any technology, there may be glitches but always make sure you use the tech support chat in the dashboard and also pop into the Facebook Belivers group and ask your questions. **What problems is Be.Live solving and how is that benefiting you?** I find I am better able to engage my audience and in turn, build meaningful relationships with them. With the ability to also hook up a chatbot to a broadcast before I go live, I also find it is quick and easy to send relevant information to those who want it. Platform is great, very branding focused and easy to use. New version is taking a bit leap. It is a bit of learning curve but still in the right direction.
