I have been using Honico BatchMan for the last 7.5 years. As this tool developed in SAP, no additional infrastructure is needed to run the tool. It’s a fantastic platform for monitoring and processing a large number of SAP/NON-SAP jobs. The ability to run different kinds of jobs such as SAP R3, Process chains, file transfer interfaces... The platform has the best alerting options in case of Batchplan issues, and its internal programs(/BTCMAN) itself provides a much different scheduling functionality. I like the Batchman application tool. The following are the points: 1. Once the job is scheduled, it will run automatically without any manual action. 2. If the job is aborted, an alert is sent based on the priority set. 3. Flexibility to create multiple nets which can be run under various order types. 4. If any plan breaks in the Production system, then stop/skip/lock the orders is a very good option. 5. It provides the runtime histogram for the jobs/nets for many years or for the required duration, which helps to prepare the maintenance break planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't find any issue with this tool. Sometimes I feel the tool is too complex for new users/consultants, but as soon as the users are familiar with the tool, all is okay. When using BatchMan in the limited scope as we do, the pricing is quite challenging. Licensing is not transparent. However, the manufacturer is open to feedback here as well. The costs of BatchMan for ECC vs. BatchMan for S/4HANA are disproportionate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
