It also offers some additional services like Proxy, SSL-VPN, etc. The best feature I like in the Barracuda Cloudgen firewall is, we can use it as a Proxy server as well as Gateway for LAN users, both work at the same time. **What do you dislike about Barracuda CloudGen Firewall?** Requires additional software called NG_admin, which is used to access the Cloudgen firewall. Policy creation is not straightforward, it has other dependencies on the Host firewall rules. saving the configured changes is very burden, we need to send the changes and activate them manually. **Recommendations to others considering Barracuda CloudGen Firewall:** If budget is the main concern, it is good for them. **What problems is Barracuda CloudGen Firewall solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helped in solving problems like offering DHCP IPs for clients, Accessing internal office services from remote using SSL VPN, and helped in monitoring user traffic. ### 7. Because the firewall has many options and features the interface is complexer then other (not next gen) firewalls **Recommendations to others considering Barracuda CloudGen Firewall:** Take Your time to get used and get familier with the interface. **What problems is Barracuda CloudGen Firewall solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it a lot for the antivirus and the atp (advanced threat protection).
