"Google docs simplicity for MS Word functionality"
What do you like best about BackUp Xplorer?

I gave up on MS Word because when I shared my Word attachment and I later made updates or other collaborators improved the file, we then had to resend new attachments. Google fixed that, of course, but I still preferred Word and all of its features that Google's minimalism refuses to offer. Now the solution I've been searching for exists! "File History got an upgrade"
What do you like best about BackUp Xplorer?

For me, the defining feature of this software is the ability to specify where I can store my backups, and to navigate them easily. The “stock” file history is pretty bad for stepping back through versions, but Backup Xplorer makes this much easier.

It’s also cool that it works for files outside of the list of folders supported by File History (Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos, and Desktop folders). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BackUp Xplorer?

Only Windows supported currently for Backup Xplorer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Writer's Safety Net and Productivity Booster"
What do you like best about BackUp Xplorer?

Backup options at the document level save space by avoiding extra backups of files that don't need it. The UI is clear and easy to follow – even for the more complex backup routines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BackUp Xplorer?

I didn't dislike anything. It's worked in every way I need it to. The only thing I'd like to see is a feature that automatically asks if you want to apply a backup template when creating a new document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wish there were more instructions to start with. Took a little longer to set up than I thought it would. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that the backup features are stored with each individual document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BackUp Xplorer?

Nothing. It is easy to use and works how it says it would. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
