  ### 3. Great Global Option

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nate R. | SEO Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Azure Virtual WAN?**

Our favorite thing about Virtual WAN is its global capabilities. There are most definitely a lot of better options out there for companies with a more global focus, but Virtual WAN is one of the best global options we've seen. It is an extremely robust tool, that seems to account for any user most anywhere across the globe.

**What do you dislike about Azure Virtual WAN?**

At times, we have issues with connectivity. This doesn't seem to be as contingent upon specific regions of the world, as it does to specific times connected to sporadic outages that are difficult to foresee. This leaves us mostly satisfied, but with the constant worry that there will be another outage, leaving certain groups of users without service or good connectivity. Again, these outages are sporadic, but still scary.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Virtual WAN:**

Make sure you look carefully into its features. It is most certainly a great and powerful tool, but it doesn't come cheap. Make sure you know exactly which features you need so that you can only be paying for what you need.

**What problems is Azure Virtual WAN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azure Virtual WAN is an excellent global solution. The connectivity that it provides us no matter which part of the world our traffic is coming from, Virtual WAN seems to adapt extremely well, and allow for a great UX. For us, it has solved the problem of only offering our top notch service to certain areas of the globe. Now we feel that we can offer it to pretty much anyone.

  ### 5. VPN with efficient site-to-site scalability.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward B. | Senior Programmer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Virtual WAN?**

Design and more organized model, I love the simple configuration to open ports of connections where the networks stabilize access, the other configurations will be automatic where you will take and connect the selected networks in order to use the VPN in your console, it is too efficient and thanks to this virtual console it is safer to navigate since it is not encrusted in the browser and there is no way to detect if there is any type of active VPN.

**What do you dislike about Azure Virtual WAN?**

The connectivity some of the times fails at the moment that there is some instability in the internet connection, this virtual console will not show any failure in the and you will be unprotected without knowing the networks are visible and also if you open the connection between two devices one with less one layer will slow down the two connection platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Virtual WAN:**

It should be used by all the people who administer networks, it is a headache to have this platform.

**What problems is Azure Virtual WAN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The creation of certain categories of automated systems with connections is often somewhat difficult because the support of the connections are not as effective and often a risk but with this console gives you the manual connection of the team and streamlines a development environment.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Virtual WAN:**

It's easy to run, so rational and easy going by preventing you to define erroneous settings.

**What problems is Azure Virtual WAN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Virtual WAN?**

My company uses Microsoft Azure to organize all of our internal sites and apps in one place that you can access with the same login. When you log in there are about 20 tiles representing different apps that you can then use seamlessly. It saves a lot of time and frustration.

**What do you dislike about Azure Virtual WAN?**

My company uses two-factor login, and you can check a box to not have to get a text message code for 30 days if you're using your regular computer. However, I've found that even when I check the box, I'm sometimes asked to enter another code repeatedly before the 30 days is over.

**What problems is Azure Virtual WAN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before I would have to log in on many individual sites that I can now access all through one portal. It makes me more efficient.

  ### 11. Virtual WAN

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janet G. | Certified Project Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Virtual WAN?**

The cost is number one. Works well with a multi region design and very similar to hub and spoke topology which is more costly.

**What do you dislike about Azure Virtual WAN?**

latency, it's not like a point to point and there can be disconnects / interruptions that in some environments is not acceptable. comparable to VPN connection vs point to point

**What problems is Azure Virtual WAN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The cost is the biggest benefit, and I see many companies moving in this direction. I worry about the latency
