"AVD : DaaS offering from Microsoft"
What do you like best about Azure Virtual Desktop?

AVD has been gaining a lot of traction for the past few years in the DaaS space because of its simplicity of deploying, managing and maintaining; many organisations are moving from on-prem VDI infra deployments to AVD as setting up brand new infra on-prem or scaling up and down may not be quickly done in traditional VDI deployments. OPEX over CAPEX is one standout feature that makes AVD the best in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Virtual Desktop?

Image level updates regularly especially addressing zero-day vulnerabilities, make it cumbersome for admins to catch with the tighter timelines; however, there are additional 3rd tools like Nerdio, which makes the process quicker but comes with additional cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Experiences with Azure Virtual Desktop"
What do you like best about Azure Virtual Desktop?

From the user side, no preparation required with respect to migration from existing setup to Azure Virtual Desktop. Cost wise its cheaper when compared to equivalent products in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Virtual Desktop?

Limitations with respect to usage of Microsoft Teams like some functionality/features are not supported like Request Control and even Teams get disconnected often when we are connected via AVD. Since AVD is a Microsoft product, we expected it to work better with Teams, but that's not the case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
