**Reviewed by:** Sanjay K. | Technical Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Table Storage?**

It's quite easy to store the data and perform scripts and calling ODATA Queries, Azure can easily handle huge data ranges to TB in a go, and it helps to scale the currently deployed application and best to migrate if there are millions of customers for the product. The security is offered is also great and developers need not worry about the security and data breach part.

**What do you dislike about Azure Table Storage?**

Combining Tables are quite tough and would like to have more documentation, frequent updates to the website make things messy. sometimes ODATA calling may not work as intended.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Table Storage:**

This is the best place if you are looking to scale your application and get more users.

**What problems is Azure Table Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Make storage and save the data of whoever uses the application, and make sure to provide high-level security to the data, developing scalable applications.

  ### 8. Efficient and Cost Effective Product

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harrison D. | Middle School Social Studies Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Table Storage?**

The most important part of this product is the cost-effectiveness that Microsoft provides. We can store, change files sizes, move files quickly for a fraction of what it would cost if we did it all on our hardware. Using the cloud space allows us to free up tons of space and time for our IT specialists to focus on more frequently used files and use the harddrive space for critical files.

**What do you dislike about Azure Table Storage?**

One aspect that Microsoft could improve is providing better support for the rollout of this product. We felt like we were coming from behind and always getting reactive answers rather than proactive help from Microsoft. It cost us too much of our time trying to solve problems on our own. The different versions and models of the product made problem-solving even harder

**What problems is Azure Table Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to store backup data as an offsite copy of the on-premises backups. We also use Azure storage to archive and save large files for long-term storage. We do this with the files we cannot delete but hardly use. Azure reduces loading times on video streaming too which has really help speed up some of our tasks

  ### 9. Easy to use table storage

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shruti J. | Salesforce Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Azure Table Storage?**

It's really easy to use and configure table storage. It's best choice to store particular amount of data which is of table type.

**What do you dislike about Azure Table Storage?**

We can't use it for massive amount of data or heavy storage.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Table Storage:**

You can use Azure Table Storage for storing some key value storage or small tables having less storage and need to create hassle free storage. For security purpose also it's good as we can gave Sas token or security like other azure services.

**What problems is Azure Table Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used this for storing table metadata or some user details table. Which we need to get started as fast as we can and get result in ms.

  ### 10. Azure Table Storage a NoSQL database from Microsoft Azure

**Reviewed by:** Praveen M. | DevOps and Cloud Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Azure Table Storage?**

It's an easy to use NoSQL database which uses key-value pair to store the data. We can access the data very fast.

**What do you dislike about Azure Table Storage?**

There is less software integration which is available with the Azure Table Storage. We need to extend the plugins which support the alert notification for the new data uploaded in the Azure Table.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Table Storage:**

Azure table storage is effortless to use and mages the data in key-value pairs; it's speedy to access the stored data.

**What problems is Azure Table Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We store our customer's data in the Azure Table, and it's straightforward to access the required data and fields.

  ### 11. Its ok, but will recommend SQL API

  ### 13. Azure table store is a very simple to use and efficient way to store lean data that is accessed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Table Storage?**

My team likes how easy it is to start storing data that strongly typed to a table model that we can determine on the fly. We don't need to run special scripts or create a new table with permissions to get started. It's right click > new table and then whatever data model in the code we pass to it, will produce the columns automatically and data types.

**What do you dislike about Azure Table Storage?**

Right now with azure storage explorer, its a little difficult to query the data depending on how large your table is. We have a decent sized data set that has grown over time, and searching for a single row by the Row Key takes at least 3 seconds or so. We haven't had other issues though.

**What problems is Azure Table Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to not fully depend on MS Sql server anymore for storing lean, lightweight data. We have been migrating the last year or so to azure table storage for a lot of our smaller data points we need to persist and it's been great. It's one less application we need to have everyone install, including on the build and web servers. And when it comes to coding it, it's a couple nuget packages and we can get started easily!

  ### 14. Cheap and reliable database solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vicente A. | Co Founder and CTO, Program Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Azure Table Storage?**

I really enjoy its flexibility. Table storage is great for storing data in a simple key-value format. Also, queries are fast when they are in the same partition.

**What do you dislike about Azure Table Storage?**

Sadly, there is no way to do direct relations within two different tables. While this is easily solvable, this can result in slow queries in complex scenarios, especially involving data in different partitions.

**What problems is Azure Table Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our case use was a simple e-commerce platform, to store and retrieve data. We saw huge savings (about 80%) compared to MS SQL.

  ### 15. Decent table storage service

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Azure Table Storage?**

I like how simple it is to use and some of the flexibilities that it provides. Its very easy to get up and going, they do have some decent query tools.

**What do you dislike about Azure Table Storage?**

It can be slow. It is not that great for mass storage. The tools provided are lacking as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Table Storage:**

I would only recommend it for testing use or maybe some temp storage of tools

**What problems is Azure Table Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it primarily for user data, some meta data storage as well.

  ### 16. Easy for developers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mihir p. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Azure Table Storage?**

As we all know current trade is making application using unstructured databases not using relational databases,we can Create apps that require a flexible data schema , we can use Use JSON to serialise data,Data in Storage is also accessible via the REST API, which can be called by any language which makes HTTP/HTTPS requests,we can easily integrate it with many other frameworks and make a hybrid application sing it!!

**What do you dislike about Azure Table Storage?**

it's little bit hard for beginner to integrate using REST API!!

**Recommendations to others considering Azure Table Storage:**

It's best unstructured data storage for your highly scale able application and easily integrate able usn java ,c++,.Net etc.

**What problems is Azure Table Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we use Azure Table Storage to develop java applications which stores unstructured data using JSON to serialise data.
