Luckily I don't have a boss who is strict with budgets but again if it was a small company or somebody who was financially unstable this could cause trouble. **Recommendations to others considering Azure Advisor:** There's nothing to say here really as if you're using Azure you have to use it. It automatically analyzes usage patterns and suggests recommendations to optimize behavior of all resources to reduce costs and increase productivity. The best thing is you can set up optimization profiles, based on improving cost, performance, security or availability. And of all this comes free, without any extra cost. Talk about savings. **What do you dislike about Azure Advisor?** It pretty comes up as a standard default with Azure portal. And it's included with your subscription, free of cost. All what the service does is offer recommendations, it is up to the user to take actions against them. So there's honestly no dislike and downside on using the service. It can be turned off too if that's what you require (honestly you wouldn't do that, recommendations never hurt). **What problems is Azure Advisor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Throughout the whole portal. It's integral part of managing all resources, whether it's terminating unused VMs, performance constraints, or turning down some resources to reduce effective cost per hour. All I can say is, it has enabled us to efficiently manage our resources across all projects and workloads. And oh, security recommendations are sweet. If there's a vulnerability or a potential threat, it literally guides you to the necessary steps to mitigate it. ### 14.
