So let's say we have a complex angular application but my system is slow! We didn't have "merge conflicts" or "I bug your feature" because we were using a "single-work file", so it was really really awesome, also it was free with a micro-vps which worked perfect for us. I know its not the same, but at least it keeps the three main features that I still like too much: An IDE The codebase that can be shared The support from the CLI as it is running inside a VPS **What do you dislike about AWS Cloud9?** After the company I worked for had to close, I joined a new one a couple of years after where they were interested in something like what C9 offered, for juniors that were learning to code, sharing tools (like GitHub and others), I said that they could use C9, but once you start in the new environment, you need to know how AWS works and start a VPS inside AWS that then, execute C9, and then, you need to join to a really bad-designed interface, not the regular IDE that was C9, so it's not the same easy-to-use tool to start to work with... after you know how to set it, it can be almost the same, but if you don't it's really hard to start. Also, something that can be really bad, if you don't know how to handle it, is that the changes from one to another dev can bug the platform and stopped working. **Recommendations to others considering AWS Cloud9:** If you have: A medium/big team A medium/big codebase Well dictated rules on how to work the codebase Too much money to use AWS Then, don't use it... but...
