"Great serverless service for long running tasks."
4.5/5
What do you like best about AWS Batch?

No need to manage machines, easy to use, great dashboard, context separation using queues, fully supported SDK for programmatic access. Automatic integration with Cloud Watch logs, monitoring. Support of IAM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Batch?

Dashboard search is not as well as I would want it to be. Jobs history limited. No manual control over machines allocation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Batch jobs processing without any underlying infrastructure."
5/5
What do you like best about AWS Batch?

No need to manage underlying infrastructure.

IAM granular configuration.

Easy Dashboard for monitoring jobs.

Context separation using Job Queues.

TTL for job.

Great SDK, programmatic access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Batch?

The dashboard lacks search and filter functionalities. Machine allocation and destruction settings cannot be configured (such as for TTL). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good for large task executions, bad for quick response time"
3.5/5
What do you like best about AWS Batch?

Easy to configure task queues and queue tasks that require async execution with AWS client for PHP. Good logs on AWS cloudwatch where you can log output and errors of the task execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Batch?

Poor response time between the task is queued and its execution. There is no option to optimize that time to reduce the total task execution time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Product Review - Amazon Batch"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AWS Batch?

There are various good things but the best part I like a job which can be executed in a docker container can be executed in AWS Batch as well. Amazon does not charge an extra fee for the batch Jobs. They only charge for the resources which Batch Job is spawning say EC2 instance, S3 Storage, etc. AWS Batch plays an important role running many jobs at scale, particularly with multiple dependencies. It makes very easy to run that and you don't have to worry about the resources. It's very easy to configure the jobs in AWS Batch and configure the Compute environment. Documentation is really simple. With AWS Batch, there is no need to install any external Batch Computing Tool on the resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Batch?

Maximum number of jobs you can have in a queue is 20 which I would say is low for a bigger organization. As well as the limitation on the maximum number of compute environments. Another thing, support for this product can be improved more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AWS Batch"
3.5/5
What do you like best about AWS Batch?

AWS Batch allows to automatically schedule all submitted jobs and manages the lifecycle of the jobs by shifting the time of job processing to periods when greater or less expensive capacity is available. It increases efficiency and maintains prioritization as well as performs resource management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Batch?

AWS Batch does not support several features like retry strategies for failed jobs, email status reporting for the jobs, dependency management between the jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick to Deploy and Implement"
5/5
What do you like best about AWS Batch?

Using a prebuilt terraform module I was quickly able to deploy my Dockerized application. In addition Batch also supports CloudWatch scheduling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Batch?

Nothing to dislike. If you need to schedule a container Batch is the best solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

4.5/5
What do you like best about AWS Batch?

It is really flexible and tightly integrated with other AWS services. Resource management is really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Batch?

No cluster-based execution limited the usability on distributed training models. And would like to see AWS Batch support different backends such as EKS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
