With the help of Autodesk insight we can work on our building from anywhere. It provide global access on the project. Any person from anywhere can work on tha same project using Autodesk insight. Through Autodesk insight in Revit we can visualize and simulate our project very easily. It is a very powerful guide during the energy simulation of the whole building. Overall this software provides provide a real time cause and better feedback toward a good outcome. **What do you dislike about Autodesk Insight?** One thing which I am concerned about Autodesk insight is that cad files can not be computed in this software and also a very skill person is required for the better performance. One more thing is that for small projects where client doesn't required energy simulation in that case this software becomes unnecessary **What problems is Autodesk Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently I'm working in some projects where clients required heating and cooling load of the whole building. It provides very realistic results and therefore we are using this software for the calculation of total heating and cooling load of the whole building. ### 10. If it become more user friendly then it will be help us for low skilled person. **Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Insight:** Yes. For energy calculations it is a best software. **What problems is Autodesk Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's results is realistic and for entire life cycle we can calculate the how much heating load and cooling load is required. It is easy to integrate into the work you've already completed. While the end result is still an estimate, it is still valuable to provide clients with if they are looking for a rough guess at the energy usage of their proposed building. **What do you dislike about Autodesk Insight?** It doesn't seem realistic to use for smaller projects or projects where the client cannot afford to care about the project's energy efficiency. In that way, it is unnecessary except in million-dollar projects. It also is not very intuitive, as the tools are somewhat confusing and difficult to use. It also is lacking some green building requirement features that would be necessary for energy calculation. **Recommendations to others considering Autodesk Insight:** I would make sure you know what you are getting into before purchasing this software, as it is tricky to use and not for everyone. I don't see it used commercially unless your client wants to pay for something like this. **What problems is Autodesk Insight solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Autodesk Insight, it is effortless to find out how efficient your building is, whether you're in the schematic phase or your building is fully developed. It helps you figure out what sides of the building would benefit from shading, as well as letting you determine "hot spots" the building has. It also helps determine a good estimte of the energy consumption of a building you've modeled in Revit. ### 14.
