I’ve been using this theme for the last five years, and it has been very easy to customize my website. When I first started using it, it already offered several features that other themes only included if you purchased a pro version. It is fast, easy to customize and works with major plugins. Overall, it’s been a good experience, and I’ve had even more options available once I decided to go with Astra Pro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With many new updates and extra features, it can feel a bit confusing for new users at first. But with experience and a little learning curve, it is very efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found the Astra WordPress Theme was the best theme initially because it had all the features to control the header, the footer, and worked very well with Elementor. It also was priced relatively well at $700. It's a good choice if you don't have Elementor Pro, as you can still control the header and footer, with a couple of settings to control some other parts of the site like custom post types. I also found the initial setup very easy and liked the developers for the way they made it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It just lacks features and is a little bit slower than the Hello Theme by Elementor. So for projects that use Elementor, we are geared towards using the Hello theme. But they also have a Spectra plugin by the same company, Brainstormforce, that's also better than the Astra theme. So for now, it's very hard to recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main draw point to the Astra theme for me (years ago!) was it's comparative light weight for the amount of loaded features for my ecommerce application. However, where the Brainstorm Force / Astra team truly shines is the uncanny lengths the support team will go to when find true solutions to any (very occasional) issue which may. To me, that's the stuff that gets the gold star and prompted me to review here on G2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not really a dislike, but rather, with all of the improvements we now have embedded in the way we build sites, I think that the Astra theme as solid as it is, could likely benefit from a "peak in the structural basement" to possible clean or streamline the workings. The theme is too good to let age! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Astra theme is the lightest theme I've ever worked on for building the any websites for my clients. It me go to theme every time while building any site. It can be easily integrated with lot of good plugins that enables lot of customization. It has very good support when having any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Over all working with the theme is good, only faces issues when there are any updates in theme, but it is resolved within few days. there can be some UI enhancements in the dashboard. All the other things are fantastic Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The theme is super fast and very customizable. I use the Astra wordpress theme on a daily basis. Integration with other plugins are made easy and quick. There are just so many customizable features that takes my web development to the next level. They also have an amazing customer support system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The free version is a little limited, but good over all. They should have added the forms on free templates. But wpforms integrate nicely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, the thing I like most about the Astra theme is how it doesn’t get in your way.

You know how some themes feel heavy and slow, or force you to click through endless panels just to change a font? Astra isn’t like that. It loads almost instantly, and it works perfectly with page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg without any fighting.

But the real winner for me is the customization. You can tweak almost everything—headers, footers, colors, spacing—right from the customizer, and you see the changes live. No child theme needed for basic stuff. It’s powerful enough for pros but simple enough for someone building their first site.

Plus, it’s lightweight. Your site stays fast, which Google and your visitors will love. So yeah: speed + freedom to design without headaches. That’s what I like best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The free version doesn't offer much on its own you're pushed toward upgrading to pro for useful features.

headers and footers, are hard to adjust without buying the paid version.

And even though it's known for speed, piling on extra Astra plugins or third-party tools can really slow things down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use and GREAT support when a problem came up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am not an expert in this world, so I don't have much to compare to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can use different features in Astra WordPress Theme without needing to code. It's helpful for building websites as I can work with various themes to develop or bring client's ideas into reality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have to pay for the theme before I can use the full features or any other themes. You have the options for the lifetime or the monthly payment for this theme or any themes availabel on wordpress Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clients can easily maintain sites built with Astra, adding new content blocks that automatically inherit theme presets. There's ample documentation and the support team is friendly, prompt, and solves issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Managing the header/footer in a widget-based way vs embracing the block editor for those template parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A theme that 'gets out of the way' allowing you to use whatever page builder you like. Astra is well coded, reliable and hasn't created significant issues for us in the past five years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are some features, such as a mega menu, that are not intuitive to use. The header and footer builder are much improved, but some functions, like changing the breakpoint, now require PHP instead of just having a toggle in the Customizer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
