I've used the Astra theme for a couple of years and it's a decent theme for use to build client websites. It's pretty easy to use and implement, and the feature for agencies to build many websites is useful. I like the fact that you don't have to use Elementor or another plug-in for design and it can be just Guttenberg blocks. It's also lean and loads fast which is always a plus. It has many starter templates, but you would need Spectra Pro to access many of these. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main complaint is the lackluster, plain designs of the starter templates, which is why I bought this, to save time on development. Honestly they don't look that great, but if you're willing to work you can make them look pretty good. Also, for most of them you need Spectra Pro to access them, which cost more money. It's understandable they have to make money but even the Spectra Pro versions don't look great. I think they really should hire a better designer.
Also, the AI template maker is overhyped and not impressive at all (but so are other others I've seen). It gives you dozens of AI templates and they all look like they just threw something on the page. I haven't yet seen a good looking AI template. It does give many variations though.
