I had a very positive experience working with Asato during a PoC with my company internal IT team.

The UI/UX is clean and intuitive, making it easy to understand and easy to find the waste of SaaS. The integration process was also very simple—in our case, providing the necessary API keys was enough to get started.

From a performance perspective, we were particularly impressed by both the speed of the analysis and the quality of the insights generated from the results. Asato helped us identify a clear path toward reducing SaaS licensing costs, which was very valuable for us.

It is still too early for us to fully evaluate pricing and ROI, as we are currently at the PoC stage, but the potential value is clear.

Simple and quick way to understand software usage at the company. Also being able to understand Microsoft 365 licensing and usage to provision the correct license save the company real money. I like Asato for its enterprise-grade data ingestion and reconciliation features, which are highly trusted due to its SOC 2 and ISO compliance and robust data protection. It's a highly flexible, extensible, and intuitive platform. I also appreciate the various approaches for connecting data, like read-only API, flat file upload, and PDF upload. Additionally, Asato's purpose-built models clean and reconcile data, a task that would usually take weeks to do manually. There could be more executive synthesis in the user interface, like clearer surfacing of key metrics and recommendations right on the home screen. A persona-based 'home page' would be helpful. Currently, the home page is tuned nicely for mid-management, but a CIO or CTO would likely appreciate higher-level insights upfront or something like a weekly, automated email from Asato so they don't have to log into the platform themselves. I appreciate Asato for its ability to provide very comprehensive information about IT assets, usage, and costs, along with insights for optimization. The customer success support is very helpful in ensuring data is integrated and accurate, making sure we are continually finding value and aligning with our business needs. I really like the Microsoft license recommendations from Asato.
