This process is so exhausting; it takes a lot of time and is not automated. However, Artboard allows me to do all of this professionally in a very short time. With its hundreds of mockups, it is truly a lifesaver. It reached the peak with the recently added Animation feature :) **What do you dislike about Artboard?** Prices! Unfortunately, I am having a hard time getting a paid membership due to the exchange rates in my country. It has an extensive library of tutorials to get used to the features and capabilities of the program, so I would say this is suitable for beginners as well as more seasoned veterans who want more control and responsiveness. Good file format output (PDF, JPG, PNG), lots of styles to choose from and the final image is high quality. I would say this is probably one of the easiest programs to work with for a quick project. **What do you dislike about Artboard?** I kinda wish it had more tools available(pathfinder tool to name one), but even with that small "issue" it's still a great product, and I recommend that people try out the free trial and see for themselves if this is a good fit for them. **What problems is Artboard solving and how is that benefiting you?** I created designs for T-shirts, pillow cases, mugs and mouse pads using this product. Also, the image quality is pretty good. A great starting point for someone with little or no design experience. You can also easily convert the file to many different file types which is super helpful when sending proofs of your design to clients. I'm thankful that they let you use a trial version before actually purchasing the product; made it easier to decide if it's the right fit for our company. **What do you dislike about Artboard?** It is limited to certain users because you can only use it on MACs. Fortunately, I have a MAC so I was able to use it. It's also almost too simple if you have any prior experience designing on programs such as Adobe Illustrator; you feel sort of limited. I also wish it had more tools, like the pathfinder tool, because I would utilize that tool a lot. **Recommendations to others considering Artboard:** If you are not an experienced designer but need a simple interface with the features necessary for a design, this is a perfect option for you! It is an okay program for beginners - in fact it may be more user friendly for beginners than Illustrator. Overall, it is a nice program to use for a quick turnaround for a poster or something. **What do you dislike about Artboard?** While it is a nice tool for beginners, I think it is not as well rounded as a program such as Adobe Illustrator. I would like to see more tools such as the pathfinder - or at least a basic version of it. **Recommendations to others considering Artboard:** If you're new to graphic arts and vectors - by all means download and try out this product. It will be useful in the learning process. I used to think everything had to be done on my desktop, but with very little memory usage I enjoy having it on my iPhone and being able to take my work on the road. The app is very easy to learn and use and I got the hang of it waaaaaay faster than Adobe's comparable products. I also love that I could demo it with a trial version before committing to the very fair price. **What do you dislike about Artboard?** That I didn't know about this sooner! Who does their marketing?! I honestly have no complaints or regrets about Artboard or it's customer support. I think some of the other programs can take a page or two from Artboard's well thought out set of features. **Recommendations to others considering Artboard:** Artboard is constantly improving by taking user feedback into consideration for updates and added features. So if you give it a try and feel it doesn't meet some of your design needs, tell 'em! And work around the obstacle with a backup program. **What problems is Artboard solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was pleasantly surprised at how many new features I am using that I didn't know how to or never even used in Adobe. In essence, it is broadening our horizons with creativity and style! It is less expensive than the monthly subscription that a comparable product recently shifted to. This behaviour trend to begin on a couple updates ago. This is getting very time irritating, but it is not imposible to solve by the developers. **Recommendations to others considering Artboard:** The Artboard program can also be used to convert files in different formats. By using programs like this one and similar, converting and changing the file extension should not cause problems and reading encoded in the file contents will be clear, understandable and consistent with the original. It is worth remembering that the Artboard application in its different versions (old or new) can be compatible with different file extensions. Typically, the newer the version of the program is, more file extensions will be compatible with it, so try to have a current version of the program, I recommend download it directly from the developer app store page. I am pretty much self taught at graphic design and this is super easy to get started with. There are different layers, grids to align everything, and tools and shapes to help build your page.
