Armor Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Reviews & Product Details

Armor Managed Detection and Response (MDR) is a managed security operations solution that delivers 24×7 threat monitoring, detection, and response through a securely governed agentic SOC powered by Nexus AI, with human-led oversight across an organization's full environment. Nexus AI replicates seasoned SOC analyst reasoning at machine speed, producing decisions that are rapid, defensible, and auditable. It has cut Mean Time to Decision by 95% and accelerated analysis workflows by more than 8x, while human analysts govern every consequential response action. Armor MDR extends visibility across the entire attack surface, ingesting data from IT infrastructure, applications and AI endpoints, networks, cloud, productivity tools (Google Workspace, O365), IAM/SSO, CASB, source control, databases, IoT/OT, containers, and network flow. Customers can keep existing EDR, FIM, IDS, and vulnerability scanning tools; Armor's service layer provides the detection, correlation, and response that point tools alone can't deliver. Key capabilities include: • 24×7 SOC monitoring with AI-driven triage that automatically enriches threat indicators, understands broader signal context, and reduces false positives while human analysts retain authority over investigation direction and response execution • Proactive threat hunting, custom detection rules with ML tuning, SOAR integration, cloud-native SIEM, and live dashboards • Specialized offerings for Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and connected operational technology (OT) environments • Built-in compliance management with automated control mapping to HIPAA, PCI DSS, HITRUST, NIST, GDPR, and DFS 500 • Full transparency through the Nexus Portal, where every agentic action, SOC decision, and asset status is visible in real time Armor MDR serves healthcare, financial services, and technology organizations that need SOC-level expertise without building one in-house.
