"Decent but limited backup solution"

What do you like best about Arcserve ShadowProtect SPX?

ShadowProtect does a good job of successfully backing up volumes at increments as frequently as 15 minutes. Mounting those incremental backups is easy and fast making searching for that file a user deleted "sometime in the last day or two" simple.

The Replication functionality makes having multiple copies of the same backup site in different location simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arcserve ShadowProtect SPX?

There is a lack of a central management console to easily be able to manage all backups at once. The backup solution is not application aware like other solutions.

Make sure you work with a good integrator. ShadowProtect is a powerful product, but should be implemented carefully by someone who knows what they are doing.
