In The ARCore I like all the features that provide right now in the SDK. I like Image Recognition and Augment the Images and place the Objects on the Images when you scan it! I like the Instant placement feature also. It gives me to place the 3D objects in the real world in any placement. I used it with AR Foundation because I am a Unity Developer so use the AR Foundation and build AR apps for both Android and iOS! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We developed indoor navigation with a local map and event points for the factory. We had very limited deadlines. Everything was developed on the Unity engine. I was very pleased ARCore with its rapid integration. Also, many things such as environment auto-correction and anchors worked very well, significantly reducing development time. Throughout the development, we wanted to be able to check the AR sessions immediately in the editor without the need to build all the time. The first time it was breathing a minus. Because we were just starting to work with ARCore and we had to do a lot of tests. Also not a pleasant moment was the loss of tracking. Especially if the room is not enough light or it contains monotonous walls. Not all smartphones are supported (Vuforia, for example, supports even other smartphones not in the ARCore list). Difficult to use in situations like indoor navigation, for example.
