What do you like best about Aquent?

What I love most about Aquent Talent is how easy it is to use and the quality of the freelancers available. The platform is intuitive, and the freelancers are top-notch, thoroughly vetted, and reliable. Plus, the support team is always there to help if I run into any issues, which gives me peace of mind. What do you dislike about Aquent?

If I had to pick something to dislike, it would be the cost. Aquent Talent is a bit pricier compared to some other platforms. While I do feel like I’m getting my money’s worth in terms of quality, it would be great to see more flexible pricing options, especially for smaller projects or budgets. What do you like best about Aquent?

I would highly use Aquent Talent, if you are a small business owner like me. As a small business owner, I do not have the resources or capacity to have in house full time employees for certain things, so Aquient Talent is a huge help as a means to talent services. I've been doing side gigs for Vitamin T for about 7 years, now, doing email campaign design and coding for some of their clients. It's been a great, independent side gig to earn me some spending money. Their reps are super friendly and helpful, and their HR and payroll systems are easy to use. Whenever I reach out to the folks at Vitamin T with a question on timecards or benefits, etc., they're always quick to get back to me and have a friendly affect toward me despite the fact that I've been entirely remote and have never met anyone there in person. What do you dislike about Aquent?

There's not much I don't like. If I were to be picky, I was recently contacted about a new gig, and I haven't heard anything back about it since the rep submitted my name, so perhaps a little more follow up would be nice? But such is common in the industry anyway - client firm goes a different direction, and I don't hear anything more about it. Still, even a follow up communication indicating that would be nice. Recommendations to others considering Aquent:

Like any firm that places remote, part-time or full-time talent - it's all about staying in constant communication with them to the point where they can't forget you, when they have an opportunity. Keep your profile and resume/CV and portfolio up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Aquent solving and how is that benefiting you?

I help Vitamin T when their clients reach out to them with email marketing campaign template needs, and then they reach out to me to see if I'd be interested. From there I work with the client firm directly. The benefits, besides the obvious (getting paid) is the client is happy and I continue to get more work in the future, so everyone wins. The team (shout out to Amaraj and Charlotte) at Aquent were absolutely amazing! After getting in contact with them on a Tuesday, they had arranged four interviews for me within 24 hours. All the companies I interviewed with aligned with what I wanted in a company.

Amaraj was available throughout the process, including switching my visa (which was a highly complex process). Whether it was early morning or late night, Amaraj was there to put me at ease and lead me on the path to success.
