What I like most is how easy it makes connecting to different databases. Instead of switching between programs, I can do my work in a single window. The interface is also clear and organized, so I can run queries, see results, and even make charts without much confusion. Another part I enjoy is that it supports many types of databases, which means I don’t have to worry about compatibility. Overall, Aqua Data Studio saves me time and helps me stay focused on my data instead of struggling with the tools. **What do you dislike about Aqua Data Studio?** There is nothing I dislike about Aqua Data Studio. **What problems is Aqua Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Aqua Data Studio solves the problem of managing multiple databases in one place. Before, it could be frustrating to use different tools for each system, but now I can connect to all of them through a single interface. This saves time and makes my workflow smoother. It also solves the problem of analyzing data quickly. I can run SQL queries, see the results right away, and even create charts without exporting to another program. This benefits me because it helps me understand my data faster and make decisions with more confidence ### 2. We're using it to connect to multiple databases and appreciate the versatility and functionality, particularly the drag & drop Query Builder. **What do you dislike about Aqua Data Studio?** We've had challenges with ADS making an SSH connection. Unfortunately we were never able to resolve this issue and had to switch to a different application for that purpose. **What problems is Aqua Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Good universal IDE for connection to disparate databases. Intuitive UI with good toolset. The user interface is well laid out and intuitive for the most part. And I've used it in both Windows and Macintosh (mostly) with no problems. And the recently introduced schema comparison tool is fantastic. I like the fact that ADS continues to add needed functionality for people who manage multiple systems. **What do you dislike about Aqua Data Studio?** It's been more than 4 years since Apple introduced its ARM processor line and there is STILL no native support for the M-series processors. ADS must run in Rosetta 2 Intel emulation mode which can be very slow. And it's also a Java based application with all the odd configuration issues and problems that come with Java apps. If ADS were ever to offer a native Arm for Mac binary, I would have almost no complaints about the product. **What problems is Aqua Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows me to access and manage all the database engines I routinely use from a single application. **Official Response from Carmen Saffioti:** > Aqua Data Studio supports M-Series processors. In our case we have used it for SYBASE SQL Anywhere as well as MariaDB ODBC connections. Either way, it has a fantastic UI, great layout, can be very customized but without making it hard to use, out of the box works great once you have your connections set up. Also, I love how even if my computer reboots or I close down the program, when I restart the application, by default all my query windows come back up with all the queries in there. So even if Windows decides to do a reboot I don't lose all my work in Aqua Data Studio! **What do you dislike about Aqua Data Studio?** While it is possible to run multiple queries at once, it is not obvious how to do it in the interface, so MS SQL UI is just a tad bit better in this department, but this is a minor thing. **What problems is Aqua Data Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing data, creation of functions. procedures, and triggers as well as data mining. ### 6. It has a bit of colour coding which helps segregate your SQL code and has various different output options for your results. **What do you dislike about Aqua Data Studio?** It doesn't specify exactly where the error is within your code, which makes it difficult to figure out and amend the code.
