Aqua Data Studio is a software I find very useful because it brings many database tools into one place. What I like most is how easy it makes connecting to different databases. Instead of switching between programs, I can do my work in a single window.

The interface is also clear and organized, so I can run queries, see results, and even make charts without much confusion. Another part I enjoy is that it supports many types of databases, which means I don’t have to worry about compatibility.

We've had challenges with ADS making an SSH connection. Unfortunately we were never able to resolve this issue and had to switch to a different application for that purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since I access multiple different database platforms, I've found ADS is the best tool for the job because of its support for so MANY different database engines in a single application. The user interface is well laid out and intuitive for the most part. And I've used it in both Windows and Macintosh (mostly) with no problems. And the recently introduced schema comparison tool is fantastic. I like the fact that ADS continues to add needed functionality for people who manage multiple systems. It's been more than 4 years since Apple introduced its ARM processor line and there is STILL no native support for the M-series processors. ADS must run in Rosetta 2 Intel emulation mode which can be very slow. And it's also a Java based application with all the odd configuration issues and problems that come with Java apps. Great visual interface to access whatever DB system you have. In our case we have used it for SYBASE SQL Anywhere as well as MariaDB ODBC connections. Either way, it has a fantastic UI, great layout, can be very customized but without making it hard to use, out of the box works great once you have your connections set up. Also, I love how even if my computer reboots or I close down the program, when I restart the application, by default all my query windows come back up with all the queries in there. So even if Windows decides to do a reboot I don't lose all my work in Aqua Data Studio! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While it is possible to run multiple queries at once, it is not obvious how to do it in the interface, so MS SQL UI is just a tad bit better in this department, but this is a minor thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's minimalistic and easy to create queries. It has a bit of colour coding which helps segregate your SQL code and has various different output options for your results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
