Yosemite remains the most fantastic representation of Apple's desktop OS ever, and now it's better than ever. It's a free update for anyone using a Mac made in 2008 or later (and some 2007 models), but (of course) it works best with recent hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After installing OS X Yosemite, I can't update Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. I'm receiving a message "Update Unavailable with this Apple ID" This update isn't available for this Apple ID either because a different user purchased it or the item was refunded or canceled. WTH?? What do you like best about Apple OS X Yosemite?

My computer works faster and is easier to restart and reboot. I run a lot of graphics programs on my computer like Adobe illustrator and photoshop as well as download a lot of graphics and Yosemite has made the machine run smoothly while I handle this work. There's not too much to dislike but I have had trouble getting my OS to properly work with airdrop between my phone and computer. Sometimes I have to send myself voiceover work for videos and it would be easier to airdrop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
