Ambler (by Ambler Tech ApS) Reviews & Product Details

Ambler is a music metadata registration platform for record labels, self-releasing artists, and all music creators. We solve a critical gap in the music industry: most creators lose royalties because their metadata is incomplete, incorrect, or never submitted to collection societies. Distributors handle getting recordings onto streaming platforms, but typically do not register the underlying musical works with PROs and CMOs — which is what determines whether songwriters, producers, and contributors actually receive performance and mechanical royalties. Ambler brings everyone into one collaborative workflow — labels, artists, songwriters, and producers — to register releases, works, recordings, and contributor credits correctly from day one. Validated data is delivered directly to collection societies, performing rights organizations, and publishers, ensuring creators get paid faster and accurately. Ambler is free for artists, songwriters, producers, and all contributors. Subscription plans for record labels start at EUR 99/month. All data is hosted in the European Union and is fully GDPR-compliant. Ambler replaces error-prone manual processes — spreadsheets, email chains, and disconnected registration portals — with a single, collaborative platform. Labels create registrations for new releases, then invite all contributors (artists, songwriters, producers) to confirm their credits and splits. Every contributor reviews and confirms their involvement before the data is submitted, creating a validated single source of truth. The platform automatically generates industry-standard registration files (CWR for mechanical and performance rights, MWN for works, and RIN for recordings) and delivers them directly to collection management organizations (CMOs), performing rights organizations (PROs), and publishers. Real-time validation flags errors before submission, ensuring data accuracy and reducing payment delays caused by metadata mismatches. Ambler's registration workflow tracks every stage — from draft to contributor confirmation to final submission — with a full audit trail. All contributors gain transparent access to their credits and splits, strengthening trust and reducing disputes. The platform works across desktop and mobile web, so contributors can confirm their credits from anywhere. Ambler is built for independent labels managing 10-400 releases per year, mid-size labels scaling their catalogues, and self-releasing artists who need professional-grade registration without enterprise pricing. It integrates with existing label operations and distributor pipelines, fits into current workflows, and requires no technical expertise to use. All data is EU-hosted and GDPR-compliant. Ambler's revenue model is subscription-based for labels — artists and contributors use the platform completely free, with no commissions on royalties.
