"Secure, Scalable Virtual Desktops with a Consistent Cross-Platform Experience"
4/5
What do you like best about Amazon WorkSpaces?

Amazon WorkSpaces provides secure, managed virtual desktops without requiring organisations to run and maintain their own VDI infrastructure. I especially like Personal WorkSpaces, WorkSpaces Core, AutoStop mode, AlwaysOn mode, and the integration with AWS Directory Service, which together make it easier to provision secure desktops for remote employees and contractors.

The user experience is consistent across Windows, macOS, Linux, tablets, and web browsers. Performance is strong for general productivity workloads, and the ability to scale automatically removes much of the complexity typically associated with traditional VDI deployments. Integration with AWS security services further streamlines governance and compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon WorkSpaces?

Graphics-intensive workloads often require higher-specification bundles, which can drive up the overall cost. The user experience also depends heavily on network latency, especially for remote users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Scalable Remote Work with Amazon WorkSpaces"
5/5
What do you like best about Amazon WorkSpaces?

Amazon WorkSpaces is that it provides secure, cloud-based virtual desktops that can be accessed from anywhere. It simplifies remote work by allowing users to access their applications and files from different devices while maintaining strong security and centralized management. It is also scalable, reliable, and reduces the need for expensive on-premise infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon WorkSpaces?

One thing I dislike about Amazon WorkSpaces is that performance can sometimes depend on internet connectivity and network latency. The initial setup and configuration may also be complex for new users, and costs can add up for organizations with a large number of users. Additionally, some users may experience limitations when running graphics-intensive applications compared to a physical desktop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Scalable Virtual Desktops with Seamless AWS Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amazon WorkSpaces?

What I like best about Amazon WorkSpaces is its ability to provide a secure, fully managed virtual desktop that can be accessed from anywhere. The setup is straightforward, and it eliminates the need for high-end local machines since everything runs in the cloud.

The performance is generally reliable, and the seamless integration with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem makes it easy to manage users, storage, and security. I also appreciate the scalability—you can quickly provision or decommission desktops based on need, which is very useful for teams and organizations.

Overall, it improves flexibility, reduces infrastructure overhead, and enables a consistent working environment across devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon WorkSpaces?

One downside of Amazon WorkSpaces is that performance can sometimes be inconsistent, especially when dealing with high-latency networks or graphics-intensive workloads. While it works well for standard tasks, more demanding applications may experience lag.

Another area for improvement is pricing transparency—costs can add up quickly depending on usage, storage, and bundles, making it harder to estimate ROI upfront. Additionally, the initial setup and configuration can feel a bit complex for new users who are not familiar with the **Amazon Web Services ecosystem.

Improving documentation clarity, onboarding experience, and offering more predictable pricing options would make the overall experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Cloud Desktops with Easy Deployment Across Devices"
4/5
What do you like best about Amazon WorkSpaces?

I Like Flexible Deployment: Quickly provision desktops for individual users or groups, with options for persistent (WorkSpaces Personal) or non-persistent (WorkSpaces Pool) desktops Amazon.com. Persistent desktops are tailored for exclusive use, while pooled desktops are ephemeral and shared. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon WorkSpaces?

Not much anything negative I like the cloud desktops that I get to form any device. Almost better than Teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Reliable and Scalable Virtual Desktop Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Amazon WorkSpaces?

What I like best about Amazon WorkSpaces is its seamless remote accessibility and consistent performance. It allows me to securely access a fully functional desktop from anywhere, which is extremely helpful for working across multiple locations or devices. The integration with AWS services and the ability to scale resources up or down based on workload is also a major advantage. Plus, its simple setup and centralized management make it efficient for IT teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon WorkSpaces?

What I dislike about Amazon WorkSpaces is that the initial loading time can sometimes be slow, especially on low-bandwidth connections. Additionally, occasional lag or latency issues may affect performance during peak hours. While it’s generally reliable, the cost can add up for long-term use compared to other virtual desktop solutions, especially when high-performance configurations are needed. "Simple and secure cloud based desktop solution with easy to scale as per need"
4/5
What do you like best about Amazon WorkSpaces?

The best capabilities of Amazon Workspace we used are,

1. Its easy integration with AWS storage

2. Based on the need the resources can be dynamically added or reduced. This allowed us to adjust the resource needs based on different purposes.

3. The AWS Workspace has security enabled with Authenticators, to prevent the misuse of it. We used RSA Secure ID for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon WorkSpaces?

The Amazon Workspace requires internet connectivity all the time, due to its cloud nature. And the difficult part is it requires higher bandwidth connectivity, otherwise the desktop screen freezes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
