What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS)?

In EBS, we don't need to configure web servers manually; it can manage itself. Also, if we configure a volume, it automatically creates a replica, which is a very impressive feature in EBS. Additionally, EBS asks during the environment setup whether you want to keep the old version or the latest version, like PHP, Node, Python, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it fails the deployment without specifying any problem or issues. After that, if we want to revert the deployment, it doesn't support this, which is a very frustrating thing I faced in EBS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Data is persistent, even when the ec2 instance is terminated provided you should not select delete on termination when attaching the volume to the instance. Useful while creating snapshots. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Amazon EBS is one of the essential service that you will be using for your day to day cloud computing services. Not only I use this for a block storage service also I use this to keep snapshot of particular state of data. FOr throughput optimized HDD max storage limit is same as others e.g. 16 TiB. An increase in that would be helpful specially for serving huge data with windows servers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
