Well our company is on version 7.5 FP2 and needless to say we're far from the current version. Allscripts is not playing nice with contract negotiations, so we decided to explore the competitors' software. We may be a small client in terms of revenue to Allscripts, but we are still a client and if that's how they opt to treat us, I don't see many other clients staying on board. Software is all comparable and its the support you get that differentiates one vendor from another. Just sayin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything is all in one place for patients including medical record, current charting, prescriptions and orders, trends, social work details, etc. Tasks can also done through the system which is very helpful with labs! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am a student and getting used to Sunrise was very overwhelming for me. If it was more user friendly, I could spend more time learning about my field, rather than learning how to use and navigate Sunrise. There are too many options and too many filters. There is TOO much going on which makes it difficult to navigate. I don't have an answer to the problem, but I wish it was easier to get where you want to be. I do like the front page with the daily recap. A good place where you can find all information in terms of doctor visits, blood test results, other para-clinical exams, insurance plans and everything related to the subject. The top alert bar is helpful in putting an essential information that will never be neglected.

I do miss more large-scale analysis tools in Allscripts. To have the ability to search through multiple charts for a single keyword or certain therapy/procedure it would help research a lot. Ability to pull out data in more concise and structured way will provide a good overview of the practice or group of people.
