Accessing the program through Citrix sessions really slows things down. This also introduces a degree of instability with the connection; I've found that sessions will frequently and suddenly terminate, right in the middle of documentation. I'm not sure if this is the program itself, or because it's being done in/through a Virtual Machine, but switching between tasks in the program is very slow and "laggy." Well our company is on version 7.5 FP2 and needless to say we're far from the current version. Allscripts is not playing nice with contract negotiations, so we decided to explore the competitors' software. We may be a small client in terms of revenue to Allscripts, but we are still a client and if that's how they opt to treat us, I don't see many other clients staying on board. I am a student and getting used to Sunrise was very overwhelming for me. If it was more user friendly, I could spend more time learning about my field, rather than learning how to use and navigate Sunrise. There are too many options and too many filters. There is TOO much going on which makes it difficult to navigate. I don't have an answer to the problem, but I wish it was easier to get where you want to be.
