Every integration had well-detailed documentation or step-by-step processes on what needed to be connected and what IAM roles were necessary. When we encountered in issue with the Trust Center, we raised the concern to the Akitra team and they implemented a fix for it in a respectable turnaround time. The founder is always on top of scheduling calls when it comes to discussing new security frameworks or determining which auditing firm would be involved, and the team lead on the customer support double-checks the submitted evidence and policy docs to ensure they match the effective controls. The strong push for a weekly cadence of meetings during the evidence collection and control implementation / setup was initially met with hesitation, but it ended up helping us stay on target for the evidence gathering. The integration configuration, while well documented, required a lot of manual steps and clicks in the respective platforms, and could likely be improved by developing guides using CLI and MCP / API-based programmatic approaches, for example a series of cli commands that could be used to generate the specific service accounts and IAM principals required.
