"Outstanding Support, Seamless Data Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

I really appreciate Airbyte's outstanding support team. They are absolutely brilliant, showing care, listening to problems, and responding with empathy to resolve issues. I also like the ease of integrations with multiple touchpoints and how it helps in creating workflows effortlessly. Airbyte is very easy to set up, and its intuitive dashboard made the initial setup smooth for us. It saves time, especially when dealing with multiple clients and complex workflows with multiple connectors. The platform eliminates the concern about coding or changing APIs, which makes the entire process very smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

One thing that might improve Airbyte is how we manage usage and tokens. It would be great if there could be some sort of account-level cap to prevent unintended usage or mistakes when configuring complex workflows. This feature could help catch issues before they become major problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Self-Hosted Data Sync with Uneven Connector Maturity"
4/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

I like that Airbyte has a massive connector catalog and that there’s little friction when I work with custom APIs. I don’t have to get stuck writing brittle Python scripts or waiting months for support to build an integration. The initial setup was quite straightforward using the Helm charts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

The maturity varies between the tier 1 connectors and community-contributed ones. Some niche or beta connectors occasionally struggle with edge cases like subtle schema drift, complex nested JSON flattening, and recovering from API rate limits. I’d also like clearer diagnostic banners in the UI instead of verbose raw stack traces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Scalable ELT Made Easy with Airbyte’s Open-Source Connectors"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

Airbyte has made our data integration workflow a lot simpler. The open-source nature means we're not locked into a vendor, and the range of pre-built connectors saved us a ton of engineering time we would've otherwise spent building custom pipelines. The Connector Builder is especially useful when we needed a source that wasn't already in their catalog and we could get something working without writing much code at all. Setup was smooth, and their documentation is clear enough that we rarely needed to reach out to support. Would recommend to any team looking for a flexible, scalable ELT solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

The learning curve can be a bit steep when setting up more complex or custom connectors, especially if you're not already familiar with the CDK. Some connectors also have occasional syncing issues or rate-limit errors with third-party APIs, which sometimes need manual troubleshooting. Documentation is generally good, but for lesser-used connectors it can feel a bit thin. Would love to see faster sync performance for very large datasets as well. "Powerful CDC, Scheduler with Seamless Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

I like using Airbyte as our main CDC tool to connect our production databases to the company’s main DWH. We also use it for batch files, Google Sheets, and APIs, which lets us trigger materializations with dbt. Overall, it helps us build end-to-end pipelines and keep a full picture of the process.

I also appreciate the idea that we can quickly modify connectors when needed. The source code is easy to navigate and adapt to our needs, which makes it easier to share data between processes and to plug and play. It’s also helpful that, if something fails, we can send alerts to Slack via an incorporated webhook. Deploying it locally was straightforward.

We still need to investigate how user authentication works, so not everyone is able to change connections and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

I’d love to see richer metadata support, similar to what dbt offers with its data catalog. It would also be great to be able to manage connections, sources, and destinations with Terraform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and Versatile with Easy Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

I actually use the MCP Gateway of Airbyte, which is a very valuable thing. It gives me secure access to hundreds of daily apps with one MCP, which I find really useful. I also like the ability to connect once and use it anywhere with any tool. The MCP Gateway is something I like most as it allows me to connect more tools at once. Additionally, I find Airbyte easy to set up because the docs are well-documented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

I think there must be more integration come to the MCP connectors as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Intuitive Open-Source Pipelines"
5/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

Open-Source & Flexibility: Airbyte OSS stands out for its open-source approach. It's both free and self-hostable, providing full control over data and infrastructure while eliminatiing vendor lock-in.

Ease of Use: For standard data pipeline (such as PostgreSQL to snowflake), the UI is very intuitive. We can deploy new pipelines in minutes, with no coding required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

We would appreciate clearer, transparent pricing for all plan tiers and an integrated cost calculator, which are currently missing from the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible and Cost-Friendly Data Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

I love that Airbyte makes it incredibly simple to pull data from multiple sources into our warehouse, allowing the unified analytics to run smoothly. Its capacity to handle most of the syncing tasks without requiring me to build custom pipelines is a massive relief. The product effectively removes the headache of manually building and maintaining connectors by ensuring that most sources work right out of the box. The scheduled syncs are particularly helpful as they keep our warehouse data updated without the need for manual intervention, thus enhancing the reliability and speed of our data pipeline. Setting up new connectors and monitoring syncs is also straightforward thanks to its clean, intuitive UI. Clear logs play a vital role in allowing me to quickly debug any sync issues, significantly cutting down on troubleshooting time so that I can focus more on utilizing the data. The initial setup of Airbyte was remarkably smooth, taking just a few minutes to spin up and adding the first connectors required minimal effort. When we transitioned from custom Python pipelines and some usage of Fivetran to Airbyte, we gained more control and reduced costs, which was a significant advantage. Overall, it's a solid, flexible, and cost-friendly solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

Some connectors can be a bit buggy, especially the less-used ones. Additionally, handling large syncs sometimes requires tuning to avoid timeouts. I would also appreciate faster support responses when something breaks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rapid Deployment & Powerful Syncs, But Pricing Transparency Needed"
5/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

Airbyte Flex enables rapid deployment in any environment—on-premises, cloud, hybrid, or multi-cloud—within days instead of months.

It provides our data teams with full sovereignty over data, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhanced security, which is crucial for sensitive or regulated workloads.

Recent platform upgrades have accelerated data sync speeds by 5–10x, particularly for connectors targeting Snowflake and BigQuery, significantly improving performance and freshness of analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

We would appreciate more transparent and detailed pricing options, along with a dedicated cost calculator to help teams plan budgets more confidently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Pricing Empowers Seamless Data Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

The capacity-based pricing model is a huge win for us. We don’t have to nickel-and-dime every new connector or worry that adding a few more syncs will blow up our budget. As long as we stay within our volume, we’re free to experiment with new sources and pipelines, which makes it much easier to support new use cases without going through a long cost-approval cycle each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

So far, we really haven’t had any real issues to call out. Once the pipelines are set up, Airbyte just runs in the background and doesn’t need much attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Data pipelines without pricing headaches"
5/5
What do you like best about Airbyte?

Airbyte Flex finally gives our marketing team room to experiment. Instead of worrying about per-connector or per-row pricing, we can freely plug in new ad platforms, marketing tools, and experiments Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, CRM, attribution tools, you name it. We can increase sync frequency during key campaigns, spin up new sources to test channels, and enrich our customer journeys, all without turning every idea into a budget approval process. It lets us focus on ROAS and funnel performance not on data pipeline costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airbyte?

Nothing meaningful so far. From a marketing perspective, the best part is that it just works. Once our sources and destinations are configured, campaign and channel data keeps flowing into our warehouse without much hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
