Visual report is very good to analyse the overall model. Feature of adding vendor curves for Pumps is very useful. **What do you dislike about AFT Fathom?** Needs significant improvement in combined report generation. **Recommendations to others considering AFT Fathom:** AFT Fathom is very good tool for hydraulic calculation. It provides multi level checking which helps to reduce error and saves time. Visual Report is very helpful to analyse entire network. **What problems is AFT Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am extensively using AFT Fathom for Pump hydraulic, control valve hydraulic and line sizing calculations. It saves time and gives freedom to try multiple scenario in single model by simply creating a new case. ### 3. To understand route cause analysis of plant operational issues and finding out solutions for them. Fire water system design. Plant asset health monitoring like fouling level in system and planning for maintenance. Cost-benefit by suggesting options to improve operating efficiency. ### 4. I specifically like this because i can present multiple solutions at the same time. **What do you dislike about AFT Fathom?** I dislike the absence of smart ness eg. use of polylines for pipes with automatic inclusion of bends and fittings, automatic inclusion of isolation valves on either side of pumps. ( At least the option of automatic inclusion should pop up and its based on user, same can be selected or rejected). These features would make model creation faster. **Recommendations to others considering AFT Fathom:** AFT Fathom is an useful tool however AFT Fathom should make a few applications smart which will ease the model creation. **What problems is AFT Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have solved multiple scenarios of waste water sludge pumping systems. Not very practical for smaller hydraulics. **What problems is AFT Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pipeline hydraulics and valve sizing. The flow diagram can be directly replicated on Fathom model and will run to check the static simulation. The user interface is very easy to replicate. **What do you dislike about AFT Fathom?** In case of any error, it is hard to identify the node with targeted error properties. **What problems is AFT Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was running cooling water system on the softwater to establish the line pressure drop and desired pressure at output. ### 11.
