AdminPlus by Rediker Software has been our school's primary student information system (SIS) for several years, serving as the central hub for managing both staff and student databases. It handles core administrative functions like demographics, attendance tracking, scheduling, grading, report cards, behavior/discipline records, billing, admissions, and communication tools.

What stands out most positively in our day-to-day experience is how easy to use AdminPlus is. The interface is clean, intuitive, and logically organized—whether you're pulling up student contact information, updating records, running quick reports, or navigating between modules. Staff members with varying levels of tech comfort have adapted quickly without extensive retraining. Features like the configurable dashboard provide at-a-glance statistics (e.g., attendance trends, enrollment numbers), and the web-based access means no software installation hassles; everything runs smoothly from any device with internet.

A huge strength is the student and staff database management. It centralizes all demographic data, parent/guardian contacts, household syncing, and related details in one place. This makes tasks like generating class lists, emergency contacts, or customized reports straightforward and reliable. Integration with related tools (such as TeacherPlus gradebook and ParentPlus/PlusPortals for family communication) creates a cohesive ecosystem, reducing the need to juggle multiple systems.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect, however, is Rediker's customer service. Their support team is genuinely exceptional—responsive, knowledgeable, and patient. Whether it's a quick question via email or guidance during setup/customization, they resolve issues efficiently and often go above and beyond. They provide thorough training, high responsiveness, and a willingness to address suggestions for improvements. While AdminPlus excels at core SIS functions and ease of use, schools with highly complex or specialized reporting needs might find the built-in tools solid but not as advanced as some enterprise-level alternatives (though custom reports and exports help bridge most gaps). The initial data migration or setup can be thorough and time-intensive (as with any comprehensive SIS switch), but Rediker provides strong guidance to make it manageable. After about 10 years of using it,we've found that it is easy to access academic records of the students, attendance, etc. for the current and previous school years. We primarily use AccessPad, and I appreciate how easy it is to access and manage student information on a daily basis. It has been reliable and straightforward for our regular use. Since we mainly use AccessPad, we haven’t fully explored all the features of AdminPlus SIS. I think we would benefit from better implementation or training to take advantage of more of the system’s capabilities. The cloud version feels more intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before using AdminPlus, we were entering student records by hand. This was time-consuming and often led to human error. Now that all of our systems interchange and communicate with each other, the process is quick and seamless. I like that it is so well-suited to education and developed by people who often were educators so they know what we need. I also like the number of integrations we can use, such as library software, Notify, health data, etc. The customer support experience is also very quick and in depth. It looks like it was developed in the '90s and not updated much since. Can be very clunky to navigate. Certainly there must be a way to navigate between school years in less than the 20-30 seconds it takes. That's an eon by 2020 standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it has a wide scope of modules that are explicit to the jobs needing to be done. Regardless of whether it is database data required for research and survey, booking programming, programs for printing reports to share or send, the framework has everything. All understudy and parent data in a single spot and effectively available. Having the capacity to post report cards rapidly.
