"Generative AI Phishing Training That Feels Built for Today’s Threats"
5/5
What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

We've evaluated several security awareness and phishing training platforms over the years, and Adaptive Security stands out because it feels like it was built for today's threat landscape rather than yesterday's.

The biggest differentiator is the generative AI capabilities. Instead of relying on the same static phishing templates and generic training modules that many legacy platforms use, Adaptive Security can generate highly realistic, relevant simulations that reflect the types of attacks employees are actually encountering. This keeps the training fresh, engaging, and much more effective because users aren't simply memorizing the same scenarios over and over.

Another area where Adaptive Security excels is personalization. The AI-driven content feels significantly more dynamic than traditional awareness platforms, allowing us to deliver training that is more realistic and better aligned with current attack techniques. As phishing, business email compromise, and social engineering attacks continue to evolve, having a platform that can quickly adapt instead of waiting for content updates is a major advantage.

The user interface is modern and intuitive, making administration straightforward while providing a great experience for end users. Campaign creation, reporting, and ongoing program management require far less effort than with many legacy security awareness products.

What I appreciate most is that Adaptive Security isn't just another phishing simulation tool. It's leveraging generative AI to fundamentally improve how organizations prepare employees for real-world threats. If you're looking to move beyond traditional, template-based security awareness training, Adaptive Security is well worth considering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

There isn't much to dislike so far. If I had to point to one area, I'd like to see continued expansion of reporting and customization options as the platform matures. The core functionality and AI capabilities have been excellent, and the product is evolving quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Performance, Polished UI/UX, and Responsive Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

All of their features work as expected, without issues or any unexpected gotchas. They genuinely listen to user feedback and act on it, which helps the platform fit real user needs. On the rare occasions when I’ve needed help, the support has been timely and knowledgeable. Overall, using the platform has been a great experience. They have spent considerable time working to refine their UI/UX, improve their integration offerings, and utilize the emerging benefits of AI in this space. Performance and pricing have been excellent across the board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

I don’t have any real complaints, but there are a couple of minor inconveniences worth noting. The main ones are a few customization limitations in the build process for custom-built training, and the fact that not all features are currently available via the API. Neither of these is anywhere close to a dealbreaker, and I’ve been able to work around them successfully without any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless experience from demo to deployment"
5/5
What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

Everyone we worked with, from the initial contact through deployment, was very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The entire process from first contact to onboarding was completely smooth and free of issues. Any questions we had were answered promptly, which helped keep everything moving forward consistently. What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

It would be a nice addition to include more training scenarios that are specific to higher education. On the admin console side, a few minor UI tweaks and improvements would also enhance the overall experience and make it feel more polished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Innovative Phishing Simulations"
5/5
What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

I really appreciate the innovation and intuitiveness of Adaptive Security. It's super easy for the teams to use and super fast to set up. I also love the preconfigured campaigns, making it really easy to allow custom campaigns and integrate deep fake technologies and brand impersonations into our phishing campaigns to make them more realistic. It has really ramped up the realism of our phishing campaigns to something more akin to what our adversaries might use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

I think the only feedback in terms of what can be improved is there's some of their feature sets that are still yet to be integrated into GovCloud or GCCH environments. But this is a limitation of almost every vendor, and it's just a limitation of working in those environments, but it should be noted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adaptive Stands Out for Security Awareness—Great Content and AI Attack Focus"
5/5
What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

I usually don't write reviews, but I think Adaptive is a standout product that needs more attention in this space. I have run security awareness at the past 4 organizations I have been a part of and this is by far the best one I have used. I am a former Wombat customer now Proofpoint Security Essentials, Knowbe4 and PhishMe customer. Adaptive is very focused on customer feedback and improving their product, with their recent relationship with Conan O'Brian just makes their content all that much better. Lastly, they were the only tool that really focused on the use of AI attacks and what to do about them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

It's hard to identify anything that I dislike about Adaptive, there are some small usability things but nothing that impacts the overall experience of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

The sales and onboarding professionals were extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. The onboarding was tailored to what we actually needed; the team listened closely, took our feedback on board, and adjusted accordingly. Overall, the platform feels well-suited for teams that are building out their security awareness program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

More advanced threat detection training content would be a valuable addition. Additional integrations with ticketing systems would also complement our workflow and fit better with how we currently operate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adaptive: Modern, Streamlined Training with Engaging, Up-to-Date Content"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

After switching from KnowBe4, we've found Adaptive to be a more modern and streamlined experience. My users have reached out to me to say that they found the content to be much more current and broken down into digestible chunks. They also found the executive deepfakes to be very entertaining and relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

I wish I could manually assign specific phishing templates/scenarios to specific users/groups to make the tests more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI-Driven Training with Stellar Onboarding"
5/5
What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

I find the AI Assistance in Adaptive Security to be a huge win for us because it helps build custom training modules. This feature allows us to save time and create relevant training tailored to our exact needs, rather than using off-the-shelf modules. Additionally, I'm very happy with the current state of the platform and excited to see what new features will be added in the future. The Executive Risk feature is incredibly valuable. Even for personal use, I've used it to identify accounts I never knew existed and didn't sign up for. The setup process was very easy, and they provided excellent onboarding support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

I think, with AI-built modules, it's just a matter of time before the models and data improve, and along with that, our turnaround time for rolling out training will improve. It would be great if they offered a bit more customization for the modules' look and feel—for example, more editing options to enhance visual appeal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adaptive Replaced Three Tools with One—Easy Phishing Setup and Fresh Training Content"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adaptive Security?

Adaptive replaced three different tools with one, which was amazing! Setting up phishing campaigns was straightforward and really easy. The “create scenario from email” button in triage is awesome. Adaptive is “always updating” and provides fresh training content, unlike our previous tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adaptive Security?

I have been vocal with the Adaptive Security team about feature requests and they have been VERY responsive. Mind you, these are minor requests, but they treat them as a priority! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
