Action! is a screen recorder and video streaming software that allows to record and stream DirectX, Open GL and Vulcan games and applications. Thanks to easy to use and intuitive interface, users are able to configure their settings in a fast and a hassle-free manner. Action! is a feature-packed software that can record a selected application, desktop region or full screen with audio and 4K webcam support. What makes Action! different from other software is a very high quality of captured video files, smooth and lag-free recording of Vulcan games as well as advanced HUD options that informs users about the recording status. ## Action! An excellent recording tool whether for work use or for gamming **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jose M. | Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2020 **What do you like best about Action!?** what I like the most is the simplicity that it has since with few actions one can record, audio, video and sound, also videos take up much less space compared to other programs some sound and video errors that appear from time to time when there are new versions and some incompatibilities of softwares that freeze the equipment for no apparent reason **What do you dislike about Action!?** What I do not like is that it does not allow much configuration when you need to do direct or transmit, it is an interface that is too simple for the times that are running, only showing the minimum and without being able to change almost anything. **Recommendations to others considering Action!:** my recommendation is to leave an exclusive disc only for the videos, if they weigh less but if there are several recordings per day, it fits together and it is better to have everything elsewhere and thus avoid some lag with recording. It is also reocmentable to check the sound of output and input in a test before starting to test, since if virtual cables are used sometimes the software does not detect which cable it is and you can record dead or without background sound. **What problems is Action! solving and how is that benefiting you?** many is the issue of storage space since in other programs they take up almost three times just to record a few minutes, this also reduces the loads on editing programs, which results in higher speed when editing using the video already recorded with action ### 2. It is great program, in which you input all your attendees and auction items. You can run reports you need, such as your check-in list and list of auction items, The grouping option makes assigning tables so easy. The day of the event, you enter the winning bids and print the invoices separating all the Quick Pays - people who swiped their credit cards and the people who still need to pay. It does the job that it is attend. After the event, you can run all the reports you need. **What do you dislike about Action!?** For certain things, it is not as user-friendly as it could be. You have to double-clink some keys to make them change to what you need. Not really a big deal but sometimes it is confusing. **What problems is Action! solving and how is that benefiting you?** This program makes having a huge auction at a special event possible. This year we had over 320 auction items at our annual luncheon. We were able to deliver invoices to the tables and have all the items ready to go when the guests came to get them. ### 3. Super effective for capturing video. You can capture both full screen and a specific area of your screen or an external screen. It is very easy to use. Its price is extremely attractive, only €23 for a lifetime license. It captures all my games with almost zero frame drop and works amazingly with both DirectX, Open GL as well as Vulcan games. Action! records really high-quality gameplay videos with webcam and audio. It has many really, really cool gaming features like Time-Shift, HUD that shows you FPS, free disk space, webcam preview, microphone volume, recording length and a really unique option of viewing chat overlay over all my streamed games. I really appreciate the HUD feature because it keeps me informed constantly about what's going on with my recordings and streams. I think Action! has the best HUD option around and it's very helpful. Moreover, Action! is a great streaming program that I use to broadcast my games on YouTube! Regarding the streaming options its more than enough. A very convenient account manager that lets me stay logged to my YouTube, Twitch etc. accounts, a Live preview of video composition lets me arrange my stream according to my needs and much more. I can truly recommend Action! to both beginners and professional gamers. **What do you dislike about Action!?** I experience a small problem with a frame drop recording Fornite but it was my bad customizing the settings wrongly. Perhaps a small step-by-step guide would fix the issue for other users. **What problems is Action! solving and how is that benefiting you?** What I realized is that I can use Action! as a screen recorder every day to make my work more efficient thanks to the visuals, I create. I save my time on making notes because with Action! I can take a screenshot by pressing a button and that's it! What I like the most is a quality recording of my Vulcan games, recording Brio 4K webcam in 60 FPS, nice drawing panel options, the most informative HUD I've ever seen and streaming features: adding streaming overlays, preview mode, etc. and all of that for really good money. **What do you dislike about Action!?** Adding some additional options would make it a perfect software.
