Actian Zen database files can be defragmented without any engine down time. Reads and writes can operate continuously during defragmentation. The Defragmenter GUI will detect data files in use and can analyze fragmentation levels of files, allowing users to quickly find the biggest problem first.

What do you like best about Actian Zen?

PSQL is available in Heroku, where I deploy most of the applications, so it's always the database of choice for most applications; it's easy to get familiar with the environment and start working on features like ORDBMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Actian Zen?

A few of the apps I was working upon didn't support PSQL, but they worked fine with MySql; that's the only issue I faced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
