Version footprints range from 5MB (client only) to 50 MB (embedded client-server) to 200MB (client-server, SaaS-ready) and support up to 64TB tables. NoETL between versions. Use C/C++/C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Delphi, or Basic and connect to any ODBC/JDBC, ASP.Net source or destination. ## Actian Zen Reviews ### 1. PSQL or Postgresql is powerful database to store the data **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Abhinav J. | Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2021 **What do you like best about Actian Zen?** PSQL is available in Heroku, where I deploy most of the applications, so it's always the database of choice for most applications; it's easy to get familiar with the environment and start working on features like ORDBMS. **What do you dislike about Actian Zen?** A few of the apps I was working upon didn't support PSQL, but they worked fine with MySql; that's the only issue I faced. **What problems is Actian Zen solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using PSQL for storing and managing my data; it is compatible with my Mac Os, and in the office, I can run it in Windows as well. The compatibility is super excellent to work also; working its availability over Cloud-like Heroku makes my life a lot easier. ### 2. The Best thing is we can save multiple type of database object and its very easy to use. **What do you dislike about Actian Zen?** I didnt find anything specific. But some of the applications does not support PSQL **Recommendations to others considering Actian Zen:** It's a great database if we need ACID properties to be followed, especially for any Financial Domain application. Were a transaction order needs to be maintained. It works well under the right type of environments! **What do you dislike about Actian Zen?** If the slightest change happens in the host environment it can mean your team is shut down on the workstation level. It's a canary. If there is something wrong, it sings... **What problems is Actian Zen solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need for multiple applications to be able to talk to the server level without having users directly inside of one. Once connected can easily begin querying the database immediately. it is perfect solution for packaged buisness apllication.
