What I like best about Accounting CS is the customization of the software that can be client specific. Not all businesses do everything the same way and Accounting CS allows you to set the parameters to what the client is currently doing. Accoutning CS then gives you a one stop solution for your client's financial reporting and many other business integrations. Many tasks and entries can be consildated and automated saving you time on entry. Time savings helps in making sure you can timley deliver finciancial reporting each month. The software then flows over to many other Thompson Reuters products that can help such as Ultra Tax (Tax preperation). Using Accounting CS for payroll also allows that all payroll transcations are mapped correctly on the accoutning side of the business as well no need to then record entries in seperate software. When you are first looking to purchase the software you work with a sales rep who sells you the product but has no real idea on how it is set up. Even though Thompson Reuters offers an implementation team and helps you get set up by migrating some data over from other applications you as the user have to learn the system and do a lot of the set up and mapping. I did lots of Trial and Error with my clients and sometimes some entries can not be "undone" once they are recored when then caused some issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
