We use it internally for project tracking, inventory tracking, HRM, and customer portal. You can track your time daily, and there is an option to write further description on what your tasks were for that given day. You can also choose to upload your task for that week, if you choose not to do it daily. Then your supervisor will have to approve your timesheet. Each task is assigned to a certain code, making it very organized. **What do you dislike about TrackVia?** I dislike that employees are given the option to make their own task code as well. This may sometimes lead to confusion and only one person should be delegated to this task to ensure accuracy across all borders and avoid any duplicates. **What problems is TrackVia solving and how is that benefiting you?** TrackVia helps to solve missuse of company time because employees have to manually track in their hours to a certain code describing what they did for that day. I realized that this helps me to be more conscientious of my work and how fast or slow I am working on a task. This allows me to reflect on myself and to see if I am working efficiently. ### 8. We collect a huge amount of data and our current electronic health records and financial systems but the sorting, viewing, and reporting features of these systems are limited. Trackvia allows us to import data from any source and develop our own views and dashboards that give us the information we need at any time. The mobile app is a major advance in data collection at the point of care. **What do you dislike about TrackVia?** There are very few things to dislike about the program. In earlier versions, you were able to make subforms and this is a feature that I hope they bring back in future releases. **Recommendations to others considering TrackVia:** Start right away! **What problems is TrackVia solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Trackvia for a variety of solutions. We keep all the Emergency Department and Floor consults in a secure database that allows for easy retrieval and tracking of many aspects of their treatment status. We have a variety of custom research databases. We use it in the process of tracking all the steps for patients going to the operating room. We add financial data to medical events and can assess productivity. We have programmed in patient-reported outcomes to assess patient results. ### 11. I do appreciate that it allows us to do exactly what we want, but sometimes our own complexities will hinder that highly customizable build when we could have used an option to possibly simplify our processes. **What problems is TrackVia solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the problem of having multiple sources of truth (e.g., we used a spreadsheet to communicate projects, then another spreadsheet with the project's data). Instead of sending teammates on wild goose-chases through shared drives and expired links looking for data inside of multiple spreadsheets, we can send users into Trackvia to update our one source of truth. ### 12. We needed a data collection platform that could be customized around our processes and quick to deploy. We were able to accomplish this. The functionality is quite extensive once you get the hang of how it works. Emailed alerts and scheduled reports are very useful features. Our Trackvia implementation manager was very quick to understand our business process and was great at coming up with solutions. Technical support is also very quick to respond. **What do you dislike about TrackVia?** Opportunity for increased functionality around UI and form design. The mobile app interface looks very different from the web interface, so be sure to design forms with this in mind. App scripts may be required to achieve certain functionality, but the Trackvia team offers great support here when needed. **What problems is TrackVia solving and how is that benefiting you?** We first implemented Trackvia to better manage our supply chain and inventory movement processes. Most of the information was being documented on paper and then transferred to Excel. Information was not easily accessible. We've streamlined this with Trackvia and now have near real-time visibility into our supply chain movements. Less paperwork shuffling and better planning decisions as a result. ### 26. We were struggling to find an off-the-shelf application that matched the needs of our business, but nothing seemed to match. Working with Trackvia we were able to custom build a platform that we have consistently enhanced since we launched. **What do you dislike about TrackVia?** Sometimes our needs are ahead of Trackvia's current capabilities. We have found workarounds in most cases and in other cases we have just waited for the functionality to come online. **What problems is TrackVia solving and how is that benefiting you?** We run all administrative aspects of our business through TrackVia. We have been able to maintain low overhead because of the automation we have been able to build out in the TrackVia platform. The platform is user friendly, easy to navigate, and I don't need a degree in C++ programing to manipulate it. We have been working with TrackVia since 2010 and everyone has always been great to work with. Our entire company uses the TrackVia platform in some capacity. There is no way we could have grown to the size we are today and been as successful if it weren't for implementing an online database that was easy for everyone to use. **What do you dislike about TrackVia?** We are in the middle of transitioning from Classic to TV 2.0. Classic had some issues that boxed us in, but all of those have been resolved in TV 2.0. Classic limitations: number of fields per table, not as user-friendly dashboards, difficult to manage user views. **Recommendations to others considering TrackVia:** I would recommend it to anyone -- even for personal use, like your address book, friends, relatives birthdays, etc. I really enjoy being able to filter, set alerts, email reports. Makes me look amazing and like I never forget anything. :) Seriously though- any business can benefit from the streamlining of workflows that TrackVia is able to provide. **What problems is TrackVia solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving all of our business work flows kinks with TrackVia. This is important to us because we use TrackVia for our legal records and making it simple is key to our use. **What do you dislike about TrackVia?** The only things that we tend to get complaints about are regarding search functionality within tables. If you search for something and go into a record and then try to go back you have lost your search and have to do it again. The use of notification alerts via email also removes the risk that submitted forms don't reach their intended target. **What do you dislike about TrackVia?** Lack of scheduling functionality and resource management. I would love to collaborate with Trackvia to incorporate a streamlined scheduling tool. **Recommendations to others considering TrackVia:** If hiring a person to manage this application find someone with scripting knowledge. Improved QA around data capture. Time savings through the removal of paper. The major benefits have been in the result of freeing up enough time of certain employees that they can now take on more value adding functions.
