**What do you like best about Systems4PT?**

Easy system to navigate, focus billing side is excellent. Support are fast to respond and always helpful. 
When Covid 19 hit Systems stepped up and worked on Virtual PT and worked with insurance companies to ensure we were paid for the services we provided. Always on the cutting edge. This service they provided and the endless hours they worked did not cost my company 1 cent more. This is definitely a team approach no matter how large or small your company. I love S4PT.

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

Nothing. Everyone has frustrations on occassion but the support staff and Dan Alloway always work it out. The system is continuously improving, they are always asking their clients how to make things better.

**Recommendations to others considering Systems4PT:**

Excellent, reliable and trustworthy company. They are truly there to help and they understand the clinic success is their success so they are a true partner and not just a company looking to make money out of you. 
I have worked with three other EMR companies over the years and Systems4PT by far are the best.

**What problems is Systems4PT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are not working on any issues currently with S4PT. Benefits one of the biggest is S4PT only charges you a percentage of collections from insurance companies never what you collect from the client in the office. So in January - March when deductibles hit S4PT does not take a big chunk of your revenue. All other systems I have used including Redoc, Clinicient took a percentage of all revenue. This was a big bill at the time of year your revenue and cash flow is low.

**What do you like best about Systems4PT?**

As new business owners, there is more we don't know than know.  What has impressed us the most is S4PT's exceptional customer service; they respond quickly to emails and always pick up the phone. Documentation is as streamlined as advertised. Daily notes take 2 mins; we make minor tweaks to IEs to suit our taste. SP4T is incentivized to file claims efficiently, taking a load off our shoulders.   Overall, they are outstanding!

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

I think the training program could use some tweaks, especially for a new owner new to the PT world.  Difficult for me to take notes and follow along while the instructor clicks away.  Recently, S4PT sent me links to videos that go through the clinic reports and have been most helpful.  Recommend S4PT develop similar videos for Front Desk, PT/APT operations and FITS/Billing.

**What problems is Systems4PT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My greatest concern is creating efficiencies, especially with documentation.  If PTs are writing notes, they are not seeing patients. S4PT minimizes this concern through their streamlined notes.

Customer service is excellent, and their staff has always been helpful, but the best thing about it is that it DOES increase collections, and it DOES decrease documentation time.

The user interface could be updated, but that is happening!

Our documentation time has been cut significantly and, our collections have increased. But honestly, one of the things that I like now are the reports that are easily accesible and are truly helpful in managing the business side of our practice.

Systems4PT has made the paper work involved with  patient care much more manageable. Their customer support is above and beyond what I would expect from any MNR system.

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

It's really hard to say, but if I had to find one, it would be that one  of the only things I struggle with is the PTA notes.  The system does not have a way for it to notify me when they have completed their notes and are ready for me to review and sign.

The best system for documentation, support and billing.

**What problems is Systems4PT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stream line billing and collections.  The system is set up so all of our claims go through with no errors and collection of copays and deductible are made easy for the front office to recognize.

**What do you like best about Systems4PT?**

We chose Systems4PT after demoing and using multiple EMRs for PT. Systems is the fastest EMR we could find, allowing our therapists to provide quality notes with point of service documentation. Evals take minutes and eliminate redundancies. 

When it comes to compliance Systems is on top of it all, and constantly communicating with users. Our MIPS score was 100 in 2020, oh and it didn't cost us anything extra to report MIPS, like all the other EMRs we looked at.

Speaking of cost, Systems4PT charges their monthly fee based on their collections. It is a lower percentage than any other EMR or 3rd party we've found, and it is only on insurance collections. We also don't pay an additional fee for using the EMR. If you are a practice needing or wanting to offload billing, you would be insane not to look at Systems4PT.

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

Systems, is constantly working to update components, which can come slower than I'd like. But I know that when they release something it is going to work. We launched telehealth and we got paid for it, not what I heard from other clinic owners I know.

The thing I am most looking forward to is intake documentation integration, which Systems is working on, but has not yet launched. This will allow our clinic to go nearly entirely paperless.

Systems lets my PTs go home at the end of the night without having to worry about finishing their documentation when they should be spending time with their families. If you follow Systems4PT's guidance, compliance is a cinch.

Nothing at all. The system is very user-friendly! It makes our workdays much more efficient.

Systems4PT has been a game-changer for our business. Documentation happens at the time of treatment. Specific wording required by Medicare is automated so it is less typing for our therapists which means more quality time spent with our patients. We pride ourselves on good quality one-on-one care and Systems4PT allows us to achieve this with the tools and resources they provide. Patients notice and it keeps them coming back. The front desk user face is well organized. Scheduling is a breeze as well as registering new patients. The system has an insurance validation system in place that checks to make sure patient registration information has been entered correctly resulting in fewer denied claims. Our front desk loves the lists provided each day that organizes action items such as progress notes due, insurance auths and scripts expiring, patients who need to schedule, the list goes on. This makes it clear for the front desk to prioritize and complete action items to stay compliant with various requirements. Systems4PT also integrates insurance billing with a dedicated team that submits our claims and posts payments to each patient account. This frees up a lot of time for our front desk which is huge for a small business with just 5 employees (only one dedicated front desk staff). I cannot say enough good things about this company. They are a true business partner and we have been so fortunate to work with them.

Our therapists can go home at the end of their shift instead of spending countless hours writing notes. Everything is automated and documented at the time of treatment. Having billing integrated frees up front desk time to work on other important business tasks. This is huge for small businesses! Our fee collections of insurance payments have gone up since switching to Systems4PT too.

I am most grateful for the confidence that Systems4PT is firmly in the trenches with us as practice owners. Since they only get paid when I get paid, they do everything in their power to make sure we all get paid! Excellence in billing, compliance, coding, collections, documentation and changing to meet and beat the ever moving goalposts of getting paid.   It is a comfort to know that your business is always handling changes the best way possible, and that someone is thinking about your future besides you the business owner.

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

Systems4PT is always trying to improve it's products. Sometimes that causes some glitches and problems but even these are quickly corrected. While annoying at times, I look at it as necessary minor inconveniences needed in order to get a better product later.  The competitors I am sure have the same or worse glitches, but from what I have seen are less responsive and motivated to solve the more pressing issues of compliance and revenue collection.

**What problems is Systems4PT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an all in one solution. It solves most problems with the day to day of your practice. Billing, collections and compliance are my favorite things that are so much easier with them.  I guarantee your collections will increase as will speed of collections because the system only allows clean claims to bill out.  Staff training is almost nonexistent for clinical employees. The system guides you and prevents mistakes from happening. The learning curve is a little more intensive for front office and administrative, but a few weeks of using it should get you on par.

**What do you like best about Systems4PT?**

We’ve been using Systems4pt for almost 8 years and originally used them as a solution to a billing service problem and to prepare for the inevitable of computerized documentation. What we’ve found is an invaluable partner in remaining cutting edge with compliant documentation. We literally could not have stayed in business if we would have had to manually enter all the codes Medicare required over the years, let alone the supporting documentation that is supposed to go with it. I can now complete an entire eval at the point of care in the same time I used to scribble notes by hand. Daily notes on most patients take 30-60 SECONDS. Progress reports and discharges can be completed in 1 minute tops. As an owner I appreciate the corporate reports that help me monitor KPIs for myself and staff. Finally, I love that our billing cycle is under 10 days.

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

I see no downsides to Systems4pt. Their tech support is great and everyone from the top down is obviously focused on customer service. They roll out updates on Medicare compliance issues as well as updates focusing on user productivity (free)  at least once a year. Often we hear about the upgrades months in advance and, of course, I’d like to have them loaded sooner, but between managing the ever-changing world of insurance compliance and this past year of survival through the COVID pandemic, I’d say they’re doing an excellent job

**Recommendations to others considering Systems4PT:**

My advice is to take the time to contact Systems4pt for a demo of their product and follow that up with speaking to current users of the system. You’ll be happy you did.

**What do you like best about Systems4PT?**

We have been with S4PT since 2013 and have seen it evolve to meet the ever changing healthcare world.  They ALWAYS have a pulse on what is on the horizon for coding, billing, reimbursements.  They are committed to being ahead of the game to avoid rework and delayed payment.  The therapists are prompted when information is missing so their claims can go out correctly the first time.  S4PTs drive to be prepared and collect as much as possible in reimbursements is exemplary.  With all the changes and challenges that 2020 and 2021 have brought, I cannot imagine having to manually track the changes and keep up with the laws without their hard work with necessary coding.  We had enough to worry about in 2020!

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

I'm not a great fan of the scheduling process, however there is a big update coming this summer that looks to clean that up.   Again - they are always looking for ways to improve.

**What problems is Systems4PT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Medicare reductions have challenged private practice for years, but more so in the last couple of years.  S4PT has worked behind the scenes to ensure we are compliant with our reporting to get the highest reimbursement possible.  They help us to dot the i's and cross the t's as required.  We are in a position to received additional dollars through MIPS, if there are funds available.

**What do you like best about Systems4PT?**

We Love Systems4PT,  we've used the system since 2006, it was time.  We were a practice that used everything paper, till we had a flood and lost everything.  We were looking for a user friendly system that knew Physical Therapy.  Systems came in and trained us and I feel we've been friends ever since.  It gives us all the checks and balance we need when it comes to audits especially with Medicare.  We've been under a audit with Aetna, Blue, and Fidelis and did GREAT with them all.  Customer service definitely gets all stars, they are always willing to help me.

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

I would say the only thing I don't like is the I'm finished on the tablets.  Not one patient understand that they aren't finished.  I know the easy solution would be for us to do the tablets with the patients, but with our volume its impossible.

**What problems is Systems4PT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely a system that knows when a script is up and forcing the therapist to do a progress note to get a new script.   Its great that the system has everything in place for the therapists.  ( dx codes )

There are a lot of little things that bother me about the system. 

Copy and paste should be a function that is added. 

I dislike that the formatting is inconsistent. The system is very archaic for a system that has so many good things about it. I would like to see updates to make the process flow better and look like more than just a word document. You have to make sure you have clicked in the exact right place before type.  

For our clinic the application is sometimes inconvenient. We see a lot of offsite visits which limits our point of care documentation. I have to jot notes while in the home on my phone and stay after work to document. It would be nice to have a mobile phone application. 

The scheduling could also use some work. To block time off you have to go through and click each individual bocks. A click and drag function would be very helpful. Also adding things like staff meeting, case conference and other meetings is difficult. You have to add a meeting as a new patient to designate that on the schedule. 

Cancelations should remain on the schedule in a different color or faded out indicating they had canceled or missed. They currently disappear which does not show a clear picture of the day and increases the likelihood of a patient dropping through the cracks while rescheduling.

$4PT saved my practice. I was billing, re-billing, and bleeding money. I let go my biller and saved benefits. Now I get my money quicker and dont have to waste money on employee hours. They also are up on the latest Medicare  rules to efficiently bill. I dont have to waste my time on paying for that education and spend more time learning about how to make patients better faster.

You do NOT get a reminder the visit before the 10th visit for Medicare patients. I want a reminder on the 9th visit, so the progress note will be scheduled for the next visit. Also, having to reactivate a D/C account if there is a billing problem.

**What do you like best about Systems4PT?**

I love the fact that Systems4PT is always on the leading edge of providing solutions to the constantly changing landscape of billing insurance claims to all carriers.  They are always looking ahead and anticipating what the practitioner will need to do with future rules and requirements and adjusting their technology and services so that we can remain compliant, spend the least amount of time possible documenting within those guidelines and get paid.

Systems4PT was essential in helping me set up my small outpatient orthopedic physical therapy practice in 2008.  I am so grateful for their partnership through these past 13 years.  Dan and Joe have gone above and beyond for me on more than one occasion.  I am one of their smallest accounts but I truly feel that I get just as much attention and support as any of their larger clients.  I have been with them through many changes in insurance/documentation requirements and they do such a great job at looking into the future of physical therapy documentation requirements.  They take a huge load off the shoulders of the practice owner/PT because their solutions are so comprehensive.  I can't say enough about this company and this product.  I do not think I would be where I am today without them!

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

I have not used another EMR in over 13 years.  At this time I have no complaints.  The small annoyances, such as no Copy/Paste feature are being addressed in the next update.  I wish it were here now but I understand that rolling out something too quickly will lead to more problems down the road.  S4PT is doing a great job at staying ahead of the curve and implementing changes when the time is right.

**What problems is Systems4PT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying in compliance.  Documenting is time-consuming and boring.  I want to sign in, document what is necessary for each particular patient for that specific treatment and log out so I can get on with my day.  Systems4PT has these Hard Stops that keep me in compliance so I can't half-ass my notes and risk a take-back.

**What do you like best about Systems4PT?**

The systems in place to assist with meeting and automating many of the documentation compliance requirements are great.  We have been a client since 2014 and have been very pleased with the strides taken by Systems4PT to stay ahead of the many regulation and compliance issues that would be next to impossible for a private practice to navigate and adapt to.  Their goal is to minimize documentation time for clinical staff while maximizing compliance and reimbursement.  They are constantly making changes, improvements and "thinking ahead" to adapt to the ever changing compliance and reimbursement challenges.  The systems in place to assure clean claims go out the first time are great - the hard stops and prompts to complete all necessary fields prior to signing the registration decrease A/R days and maximize cash flow.  Outsourcing insurance billing to Systems4PT has also been a huge relief.  Having the FOCUS team staying on top of denials/claims issues is much more efficient than what we had in place before when doing all billing in house.

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

We are responsible for billing for the patient responsibility portion of any allowable amounts not collected at time of service (copays, deductibles, co-insurance).  The patient billing part of the system has room for improvement - invoices are difficult to understand, itemized invoices are not an option, insurance and patient billing dates are not an option to include, patient payment dates are not specific to the date the payment was made.  We get a lot of phone calls from patients each month when invoices are mailed out and  spend a lot of time "explaining" invoices.  We collect copays at time of service and estimated amounts toward deductibles and coinsurance.  The estimated amounts aren't exact and invoices are generated/mailed to bill for the difference.  The "likes" definitely outweigh this "dislike" but it is something we hope will be improved to include more options.

**What problems is Systems4PT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The management reports available are a great resource to access daily/weekly/monthly for managing and monitoring new patients, visits, gross revenue, treatments not billed,  over the counter collections (% of copays collected), registrations not completed, progress notes due, discharge notes due, cancellations and no shows/% of arrivals, etc.  The automatic appointment reminders are a great feature and increase compliance.  The monthly graph report with 12 month trend lines are helpful to identify trends in all of the categories necessary for managing a private practice.  Other more detailed reports are available to drill in to identify the "why" of dips/increases in the trends.  Very helpful!

**What do you like best about Systems4PT?**

The ease of documentation, has eliminated the need for our therapists to stay late or take notes home. This has been a game changer for our staff.
More importantly the billing side of things has been great, we are actually getting paid! And in a timely manner.  Unlike our previous EMR and billing system. This has allowed us to stay profitable as a business especially during covid. 
They are also extremely hands on with us and when submitting for MIPS, it was taken care of.  With other EMR systems, MIPS reporting and compliance was a nightmare.
The owners give out updates before we even ask for them, especially during covid, they figured out how to get us paid for telehealth right away and we never ran into any issues.
they are on top of it!

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

The system appears a bit old in visuals, and some of the clicking is tedious.  Communication between PTs and front desk could improve in terms of what they see on their screens.

The biggest thing is our issue with revenue cycle management.  We are getting paid and in a timely manner.  We have realized these benefits to our company and have been huge!
Also as mentioned above, anything during covid with updated for PPP monies, telehealth reimbursement, was all sent to us as owners right away. This helped us from sifting through hours of paperwork.
Also Medicare and MIPS, the process was so daunting before, and with systems it was so easy.

I have shopped around before signing up with any company and noticed everyone was talking highly about Systems 4 PT.  My therapist is happy, we get paid very quickly, their support staff are Incredibly Helpful and onetime. Their price is the best out there as well. If you're searching for best EMR system for your PT clinic, I wouldn't shop around if I were you. S4PT has your back.

They take care of the billing, there are a few things that we need to do from our end and we get paid quickly. Billing was a challenge for our clinic as we found out that is not a problem with S4PT. 
Another benefit is that the PT can finish her notes quickly without problems. 
We are a patient centered clinic and S4PT makes that happen by having a great and easy to us EMR system.

S4PT came highly recommended from someone I trust implicitly, and it has not failed to meet expectations. It's unreal what they thought of when building this program.  They really thought of everything. Their tech support is top notch all the way and they really care.  It is really important to me as a solo PT right now to have that support and to be able to get immediate attention.   As PT's, we have THE most verbose of all healthcare documentation which can be terrbly time consuming.  S4PT's program significantly cuts down on documentation time while ensuring you are meeting all requirements.

**What do you dislike about Systems4PT?**

The system isn't quite as intuitive as other programs I've used in the past, but those programs weren't as well-integrated or efficient either.  That being said, once you learn it, it is extremely quick and seamless, and it submits a clean claim.   
The evaluation templates are a little dated, in my opinion, but  I am hoping for improvement with the upgrade.  I wish it had a client portal for the medical history  which clients could do from home to save time at the appointments, but I believe this is in the works!   
As a solo practictioner, I also wish there was a client portal for my intake paperwork to be electronically signed by the client and kept in the system....and that it would be automatically sent out to a new client when they booked an initial evaluation.  (It's probably a lot to ask for, but I can dream!)
It might be a little pricier than other programs I looked at, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for and it is worth it.

Not being able to easily jump from patient information to patient billing history without having to change screens.  It would be nice to be able to have a tab on the screen that you could easily go back and forth from patient registration to the billing/charges history. Also I really dislike on the schedule not being able to block a therapist off without having to click each block, you should have a click and drag feature.   and finally on the reports and utilities screen I wish you only had to sign in with the password once rather than each time you jump to a new report, etc.

Company keeps business owners and therapists informed about Medicare and insurance company changes and updates the software for compliance.

There could be tweaks and updates to the system to make it more efficient than it is.

I like how every feature I need is incorporated into one system, so I do not have to open up numerous applications for different uses.

I dislike how glitchy the system can be. Many times, I'm trying to help my boss type a SOAP (daily progress) note and the measurements would not copy over to the new daily progress note and sometimes the measurements would be deleted. Also, the system freezes at times, not allowing us to use it at extended periods of time and is not very user friendly. The "cut" feature only cuts and does not allow you to paste into a different section.

Our whole clinic and one of the main methods of how we track a patient's progress is by taking measurements.  However, with measurements constantly disappearing and random numbers showing up in the measurements section, that definitely impacts our ability to do our job.

With systems4pt it is much easier to control where patient files go as well as it is helpful for tracking profit and allowing access to which and employees can and cannot log in from elsewhere other than work. This software is much faster than other software's and makes it easier to look at schedules. I also like that it has helped with profit by increasing the percentage we make by allowing to track how much I made during a period of time. I like that patient files are automatically uploaded to the correct files where with can find with ease. It is perfect for other employees to access from home for more work time if needed.

What I dislike about this software that is missing some updates and more color which was said to be added soon other than that there isn't much I dislike.

I recommend this software to others it easier to track profit save patients files and keep track of schedules.

Problems we have solved with this software is knowing that patient files are being stores in the correct places vs old software where they would get mixed up and would be harder to trace what file they were put in. With this software we have also realized we have more control over who gets to log in and out of the office vs old software where anyone could log in. More benefits is that we can see more profit percentage then with any other software.
