PRITUNL :- best vpn for deployment and management **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Shwetank S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023 **What do you like best about Pritunl?** its web based interface is beginner friendly and easy to use. you can customise your profile and use different different profiles based on developement environment like dev, uat, production etc.its independent of platefrom which you are using it can be mac , windows , linux. it provides you secure and encryption protection for transmission or communication of data over the web. its easy to scale from small organisations to the large organisations its quite good in terms of scalability. login machanism is also secure apart from username and password you need to enter the key through google authenticator which gets changed in every few seconds. **What do you dislike about Pritunl?** i didn't seen any problem as such but the frequent updates and releases makes it little bit concerned about the new changes coming in. community support is not that good also.its resource intensive like certains specificatoins are necessary to run pritunl.there is not any proper documentation for it. initial setup is so much complex. **What problems is Pritunl solving and how is that benefiting you?** pritunl hleps me to establish the secure connection over the web and establishing the connection properly. everyone in the organisation is recommended to use pritunl. i am as a developer work on backend of the project created architecture and microservices which requires secure and stable connection over the web and pritunl helps me to achieve the same. ### 4. A side-effect of this is that the not so frequently used options by the users are not user friendly, need to figure out how to achieve an outcome. **What problems is Pritunl solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy VPN Implementation for the entire team without the need for IT to intervene whenever a new person joins, improves the efficiency of the entire team. I've used it at multiple companies with no problems. We simply import our information and connect with ease. It keeps our data on the back end secure while making it easy for us to access. **What do you dislike about Pritunl?** I've been using Pritunl for over 5 years now and haven't had any issues with it. I'm always connected and able to access our secure data. The only improvement I can think of is the aesthetics of the software. Other than that, it's flawless. **What problems is Pritunl solving and how is that benefiting you?** At both of my previous companies, I was working with important, confidential information that no one else should have access to. Using Pritunl, I was able to be the only one to access the secure data (with the exception of the rest of our team). ### 11. We have very fewer options in Pritunl but all options are useful. Anyone can quickly use it. Just download the Pritunl and import the profile and use it. It has two-step security in it which makes this secure. The file size of Pritunl so small. **What do you dislike about Pritunl?** We don't get any error or pop if someone else is using the profile. If Pritunl adds this functionality, then this will be the best in the market. **Recommendations to others considering Pritunl:** Size of Pritunl is so small.
