"Fast Batch Editing with Room for Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PhotoWorks?

I like PhotoWorks for its approachable batch-editing toolkit that does not require advanced editing expertise, allowing our junior studio staff to quickly apply unified color correction across hundreds of preview photos. The basic installation and operation are very straightforward, which is great since we don't have a dedicated IT staff. The batch editing drastically speeds up our preliminary review phase for high-volume brand shoots, letting us import over 600 raw shots and apply unified brightness and color presets much faster. It helps us generate consistent previews for client reviews quickly, without needing to delve into complicated professional editing suites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoWorks?

PhotoWorks struggles with high-resolution raw camera files from our professional studio cameras. On that skincare campaign, large-format files would lag or occasionally crash during batch processing. Its file-export options are also limited; we cannot directly output to our preferred professional file formats. Since we have no dedicated IT staff, we lack workarounds for these bugs. This forces extra intermediate file-conversion steps, eating into time we need to deliver previews to our brand clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Professional-Looking Edits Made Easy"
4/5
What do you like best about PhotoWorks?

What I like best about PhotoWorks is how easy it makes photo editing without sacrificing useful features. The AI-powered enhancements, portrait retouching tools, and automatic color correction let me improve photos quickly, while still giving me enough control for manual adjustments. It's especially helpful for beginners who want professional-looking results without a steep learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoWorks?

What I dislike about PhotoWorks is that some advanced editing features are more limited compared to professional software. While it's excellent for quick enhancements and retouching, users who need complex layer-based editing, detailed masking, or extensive creative controls may find it somewhat restrictive. "Photowork: Photoshop on steroid"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PhotoWorks?

What I like most about PhotoWorks is the way it delivers professional-looking results without a steep learning curve. I don’t always have time to wrestle with complex Photoshop layers, so the intelligent auto-correction has been a real game-changer for me.

A few highlights stand out. The AI-Powered Portrait Magic tools let me smooth skin and whiten teeth with simple sliders instead of tedious manual brushing, which saves me a lot of time on every headshot. The Intuitive Background Removal is another strong point: the “Change Background” tool is impressively accurate, and the step-by-step guidance turns what’s usually a frustrating, time-consuming task into something that feels like a quick two-minute fix. I also appreciate the Performance on Older Hardware—it runs smoothly on my older laptop, without the lag or freezing I’ve run into with heavier editors. And in terms of Value for Money, I prefer the one-time purchase over monthly subscription models, since it offers excellent ROI for small business owners and hobbyists.

Overall, the drag-and-drop interface paired with the built-in tutorials made it easy to get up and running fast. I went from installation to a finished, professional-looking edit in under ten minutes, which makes it a great option for anyone who wants high-end results without the “expert” headache. "One-Click Facial Retouching That Looks Natural"
5/5
What do you like best about PhotoWorks?

ith a single click, the software automatically detects facial boundaries to smooth skin, remove blemishes, minimize face shine, and whiten teeth—all without making the subject look plasticky or over-processed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoWorks?

The denoise function applies globally to the entire image rather than separating color noise from luminance noise, or allowing localized, masked noise reduction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Affordable and User-Friendly, But Needs Feature Improvements"
3/5
What do you like best about PhotoWorks?

I like PhotoWorks for its simplicity and affordability, making it an ideal tool for quick touch-ups. I appreciate its user-friendly interface, which makes the process of retouching photos straightforward and efficient. The variety of retouching features is particularly impressive, allowing me to easily enhance images by lightening teeth, adjusting backgrounds, and smoothing skin. These capabilities help me make photos look more professional and refined, which I find incredibly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoWorks?

I encounter freezing issues with PhotoWorks, which can disrupt my workflow. Additionally, the software has limitations in its features; specifically, I struggle with the inability to fine-tune edits as precisely as I'd like. The background editing capabilities are also constrained, as they can handle only simple backgrounds and not more complex ones. These limitations affect my ability to produce highly refined photo edits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Editing App with User-Friendly Interface"
4/5
What do you like best about PhotoWorks?

I mainly use PhotoWorks for editing; it is a good app and I would recommend it to my friends too. I think its enhancing tool with features like brightness and contrast adjustment is beneficial. I also think the logo is cool and the interface looks good, though I feel it could be made even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoWorks?

There are occasional bugs, and some tools could be improved. I also think the interface, though good, could be made to look even better than the old one. Adding an AI tool would be a nice improvement too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease in Editing with Small Touch-ups"
5/5
What do you like best about PhotoWorks?

I like the ease of making edits smoothly, without the need for extreme equipment. I can make corrections and remove imperfections from images very quickly and dynamically. The installation was very smooth, and I adapted well to the initial configuration of PhotoWorks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhotoWorks?

I think the optimization of some screens in PhotoWorks could be better. Not that it freezes a lot, but it could improve a little in terms of enhancement for the program to run more smoothly and seamlessly, without so many freezes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
