The hotkeys are what I love most about Lightshot. Being able to assign a hotkey to capture the entire screen saves me a lot of time. I can simply press the Prt Scr button and then select the part I want to save. Highlighting specific areas is also very easy, and using arrows or lines to point things out works well. The option to add text comments helps a lot too, especially for website testing—just take a screenshot, highlight what matters, and add a message. Overall, it’s easy to use. There is nothing to dislike, but I’ve noticed a few things that need improvement. When I take a screenshot and write something using Lightshot, if I later want to move that text, the option seems to be missing. While I’m typing, I can shift the location, but once it’s placed, I can’t move it anymore. Also, when we select the screen and use Ctrl+C, it shouldn’t only copy to the clipboard; it should also save a copy in the folder. Right now it saves only with Ctrl+S, but having an automatic saved copy after Ctrl+C is very much required. One more issue: if I’m capturing the whole screen, the widget that appears (where we can select colour, line, etc.) sometimes goes out of the screen. This should be improved.
