The interface is very familiar and similar to other messaging apps I use on the daily, so it wasn't hard for me to learn how to use. It's also worth mentioning that the UI has colorful and pretty templates. When it comes to functionality, Fleep performs amazingly. I love how I can still communicate while identifying and creating tasks. Adding users and people from outside the organization to a chat is only a few clicks away, which is wonderful considering how much I work with third parties for projects. We have an open network where we can communicate with other users through the tool between organizations, regardless of how their equipment is configured. **What do you dislike about Fleep?** It is not as commercial or does not have great marketing like Skype or Slack. Fleep's teamwork characteristics often make sense when used by a group of people. It is difficult to attract new users to a communication platform in the world of innovative chat tools in the market. The controls and panels are sharp and allow me to identify various tasks and information without much effort. I can use the Fleep software intuitively and move information around without having to think too hard about it. I think the pricing is not too bad and it's great that several people can all access this application together online. **What do you dislike about Fleep?** I don't really dislike anything much about it so far. As long as I have an internet connection, it performs all of the primary tasks that I look for in a collaboration software. So I guess the only thing that would prevent me from being able to use it effectively would be the lack of an internet connection. **Recommendations to others considering Fleep:** I would recommend trying a few different collaboration software with your coworkers or whoever you are used to collaborating with regularly. I think Fleep has all of the main features that many of the popular collaboration software have these days, but I think their interface is better than most. **What problems is Fleep solving and how is that benefiting you?** Without using Fleep, our information would be flying around different places and would be much harder to track. There were some teams that I worked with before where we would use a spreadsheet like Microsoft Excel connected to a local area network. Updating information in real time was often problematic in Excel when multiple people were accessing the file at the same time and saving files at around the same time. Fleep alleviates many of those issues. Fleep has also given us a very organized system on both the front and back end, so we're able to manage all information without any error most of the time. ### 7. In Slack you have no idea who has read your messages after posting a new message. On Fleep this feature is great to know if a colleague has missed a message or not. **What do you dislike about Fleep?** Allowing users to delete messages. This is a treble thing, some people get used to it and delete their messages if they are incorrect instead of writing another message and mentioning the error in their older message. Another feature I dislike is allowing the users to hide their activity (reading messages and last active time) on Fleep. Disabling this feature is a bad idea and wish it wasn't there. **What problems is Fleep solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a mostly distributed team and all day everyday we use Fleep to communicate with each other. In the past year, I haven't noticed any server issues unlike Slack. I would say that gives an edge over Slack. ### 10. What I also love about Fleep was each conversation has a file drawer so instead of going through the chat looking for something I might have sent I just look I the file drawer. I think each member should be able to rename the group as to remind them which team project they're referencing. In-house communication could be replaced with chats, but correspondence with customers and clients still heavily relies on mails. Some reviews say Fleep enables an in-house team to work with outside people with chat/mail integration. True, but there must be more. We could enjoy team communication and customer correspondence in a single place. **What do you dislike about Fleep?** What Slack excels above Fleep, in my humble thought, is its publicity, and the number and variety of integratable services. They always answer in few hours and do everything they can to help you. Some of the bugs I reported have been solved in less than 2 weeks! **What do you dislike about Fleep?** It's clear that the app is still being developed and it lacks few features like filtering messages by one of the members of the conversation or sorting conversations by teams, but over all it is a powerful, yet very simple tool to improve the work of every team. **Recommendations to others considering Fleep:** This is a very simple tool that can be easily implemented. Since most of it is free I'd recommend just to try it in one of the company teams and see if it meets your needs. **What problems is Fleep solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps organize the teams work by topics and makes it very easy to find old messages which is a huge problem in other communicators. I espacialy like the "pinned messages" that let you keep the most important messages in the conversation so they wouldn't get lost in new ones. ### 26. It is great especially when you have several remote offices and need things to be handled immediately **What do you dislike about Fleep?** The only problem I have with Fleep is the Android app won't give me notifications or update unless it is always running. I normally keep my phone on battery saver mode so it disables notifications.
