"An Intuitive and Pleasant Alternative to Anki"
5/5
What do you like best about Brainscape?

What I appreciate most about Brainscape is its interface, which I find more intuitive and visually appealing than Anki's, which I used for several years. This is what prompted me to switch to Brainscape. I also really like the self-assessment system with five levels after each card, with its colored dots from purple to blue, which I find particularly clear and pleasant to use. What do you dislike about Brainscape?

I rarely use the "Metrics" section. The statistics offered on progress and regularity seem quite uninformative and don't really help me guide my revisions. Therefore, it's a part of Brainscape that I rarely consult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized My Exam Preparation with Seamless Learning"
5/5
What do you like best about Brainscape?

I find Brainscape to be a great tool for my tax preparation and enrollment exam. It's excellent for learning because I learn a lot from it. I appreciate the space repetition feature, as it helps me recollect all my reviewed chapters, enhancing my learning and retention, which allows me to solve problems effectively. Brainscape aligns well with the chapters of my tax papers, linked to the Hawk EA review, enabling me to review them repeatedly, even when I'm in the car. I value the drills they have, including all the relevant questions, which provide me with the best knowledge possible. The initial setup was very easy, taking just a minute. What do you dislike about Brainscape?

I think it would be great if Brainscape could add a question bank feature to test knowledge. While the flashcards are helpful, having a feature that allows for more direct testing with a question bank could enhance its functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless, Easy-to-Use Study Reinforcement with Great Value"
5/5
What do you like best about Brainscape?

I really enjoy the reinforcement with my enrolled agent studies. It integrates well with the enrolled agent platform I use, Hock International. The pricing is right for what I need in order to complete my studies. I have not needed support but have used the community. The view and interface has been great. Everything flows very easily to get to the best questions to help with my studies quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brainscape?

So far, I haven’t found anything about Brainscape that I dislike. I’ve also come across a few other courses on there that I’d like to try out as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Tool for Language Learning with Flashcards"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brainscape?

I really appreciate the premade flashcards on Brainscape because I don't have to invest much time in making them. I can just search for the subject and start studying right away. It's convenient to use these ready-made cards, especially since they cover the most important topics for exams. Even when I need something specific to my book or course that's not available, I can make my own flashcards and learn. Plus, the initial setup was very easy. All I had to do was register with my email, set my name and photo, and then I could search for subjects and start learning immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brainscape?

Well, the subscription part, actually. Because as students, we don't have money to pay for a subscription. And if you don't have a subscription for any kind of course or any kind of subject, we are learning flashcards from Brainscape. We have very limited access to those flashcards. So that is the most difficult part, I think. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional learning experience with the best learning app out there!"
5/5
What do you like best about Brainscape?

I generally use Brainscape for studying my MA course content and memorizing material in my field of research. It's free, and the paid content is never forced predatorily, which I appreciate. The user experience and UI design are among the best, in my opinion. The people in charge seem like they actually care about people learning. Their proprietary algorithm and system of meta-cognition are amazing and set them apart. The app is extremely easy to set up, letting me dive into learning quickly instead of fussing with settings. I study consistently while having as much fun as studying can realistically provide. I also love that Brainscape solved my problem of having an efficient and free way to gorge on material for my uni coursework. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brainscape?

I think a bit more editing capabilities on their phone app would be good. The ability to change the placement of cards in a deck is paywalled which is weird, so if I want to add a card in the middle of a deck after it’s creation, I have to pay for it. This leads to the other small issue turning an otherwise perfect app to a 4.9/5. I think a flexible payment system would help learners from lower income countries (such as myself). In Iran it’s difficult to justify paying the amount they’re asking (even though the payed version is great and I would love to support their app) for a learning app. Make some of the more simple aspects such as reordering cards in a deck free. And most importantly, a flexible payment system where people who can prove are living in lower income contexts can also pay to support the great Brainscape team. "Customizable Flashcards Enhance Language Learning"
5/5
What do you like best about Brainscape?

I appreciate the free version of Brainscape, which offers lots of features at no cost. I like that I can create my own flashcards with the vocabulary I want to learn. Plus, the ability to create classrooms and share them with others is great, especially since my partner and I can learn Portuguese together and compare notes. This feature also allows me to customize a classroom for a specific English student, which adds value to my lessons. Switching to Brainscape from Anki was a relief since Brainscape is much easier to use, and the initial setup was simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brainscape?

The audio function is only available on the paid version, would've liked to test this before subscribing to make sure it works well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful Learning Tool for Mastering Clinical Knowledge"
5/5
What do you like best about Brainscape?

What I like most about Brainscape is its highly effective spaced repetition system, which has significantly improved my long-term retention of complex information.

From a clinical perspective, this has had a direct impact on my performance. As a nurse, I constantly need to memorize and apply clinical algorithms, drug dosages, and procedures. Brainscape has made that process far more efficient and structured for me, especially when I’m preparing for demanding certifications like Advanced ACLS.

In terms of usability (UI/UX), the platform feels intuitive and easy to navigate. Creating flashcards and reviewing them is straightforward, which saves time and lets me focus on learning rather than managing content.

Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly and makes it easy to study anytime and anywhere without interruptions, which is essential for staying consistent.

Another key benefit is the return on investment (ROI). It has helped me optimize my study time, strengthen retention, and perform better in high-stakes clinical training, which makes it a valuable tool for healthcare professionals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Screenshot to Flashcards: Brainscape Makes Studying Effortless"

What do you like best about Brainscape?

I love the option to take a screenshot of your learning material, and Brainscape converts it to very useful flashcards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brainscape?

I honestly can’t think of one. I love flashcards for learning in general, and this is the kind of platform I have been looking for Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flawless Setup, Trusted Content, and Easy Navigation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Brainscape?

I love Brainscape's clean interface and find the platform easy to understand. I appreciate having access to a wide range of new topics. The flashcard system is really helpful for going over questions multiple times, ensuring I really understand and retain information. I find the color codes in the flashcards particularly useful, as they give me an easy visual cue to see where I’m doing well and where I need to focus more. The initial setup was super easy with no problems, and I find the readily available official BCSE/NAVLE flashcards very trustworthy and a big time-saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brainscape?

"Progress Tracking That Goes Beyond Flashcards"
5/5
What do you like best about Brainscape?

The biggest benefit to using Brainscape, especially as frequently as I do is the rating system as well as progressional track. It is not just studying flash cards but it allows you to hold yourself accountable for just how much you truly know that question/answer. It gives you a visual aid of what areas you are solid in, where you are decent, and where you need more focus time. It is a very easy site to use, navigate, utilize, and import information. Or if you do not want to put in the effort of making your own deck, you can study from multiple other decks that are public. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brainscape?

Only down side, but makes sense as a business is unless you pay for the membership you can not reset your deck. You can keep utilizing the deck, but it will not reset the Mastery percentage without paid participation. But again, as a business that makes sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
